Doing some errands tonight.
Got some Arco gass, $3.33 a gallon.
Turned in the NIkken Winter Comforter for cleaning
that lovely Joanie Spear gave me right before
my first hip surgery.
Got some Velcro for the dish washer
for a new sign that will say "Clean" and
the reverse, "Wash me!" or something like that.
Savon is now called CVS or something like that.
I was looking for buttons. They did not have any,
but they did have some pre-threaded needles with
various color thread! That is nifty. My eyes
don't see the holes very much and I hate to
waste my intuitive skills attempting to find the
opening.
They had a reusable bag for 99 cents.
I thought that was a good idea.
Plastic bags will be outlawed in a few years
I sense. Every store will be asking people to bring
in their own canvas or buy one of these reusable
post consumer waste bags.
Oh my God, what an Inconvenient truth we are all
living! Such a chore having to help out dear Mother Earth.
Plastic bags are nonsense. It is time we were asked
to bring our own. I like this trend.
Lots of junk on the shelves. Glad Feng SHui will be catching on.
B/4 Feng Shui comes minimalist thinking and letting go of the clutter.
Wrap it in Rhimax I was thinking as I looked at all the wrappings.
Wrap in in Rhimax Chemical Free paper, crayon some drawings
over this wonderful recycled organic paper that comes in rolls.
Use some of the rolls in your garden for weed control in place
of plastic sheeting. Use the Rhimax after you tear off the presents
wrapping paper for arts and crafts projects.
I was thinking, maybe it can be used for some kind of paper maciet (sp?),
you know mixed with flour or something else, or feed it to your earth worms.
No more wasted wrapping paper.
No more Christmas Trees, cut.
Please.

My Life as a Christmas Tree

Christmas Trees what a wonerful idea to plant trees!
Our Christmax tree is a Navel Orange that comes in with bright
living balls filled with O.J. this time of year.
The pine tree on the West side of the EGIC is about 40 feet high now,
and has pine cones. That was my first Christmas Tree the first five years
I lived here.
Starbucks?
My spirit said to stop in there when I was out doing my neighborhood errands.
I went in for a bag of the coffee grounds.
Jasdon Swaffer, store manager, directed me to a basket by the door.
It said, "Free/" It contained a lovely bag of coffee grounds my earthworms
will love as a little Christmas present. The bag says that once you make
coffee, the acid soaks out, leaving a lovely compostable mix that plants will
adore.
"Got organic?" I asked Jason.
He pointed out two:
Serena Organic Blend
and Organic Dhad grown Mexico.
Jason tells me that once they grind it
it can't be called organic because it goes
through the same grinder as the other stuff.
That's O.K.
Nice start Starbuck!
I like the direction....Ten brownie points
