2 weeks in and having a lot of trouble
Failed but not completely.
Date: 11/4/2007 4:40:57 PM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 2079 times Ok, well its been 2 weeks since my last post and I really tried to stick to my program. For the first week I was doing quite well; staying within my caloric intake limit and walking around 1.25 hours a day (thi sis all par with my history of being ble to stick to things for around a week). But for the last week all hell has broken loose and i've eaten when ever and what ever i've wanted. The only thing that I managed to continue was the walking. So, thus far I weight approximately 175 pounds (so a little over 2 pounds weight loss in 2 weeks). I know that overall it is a weight loss and so I should feel happy about it, but it is definitely NOT what I would have liked to see on the scale at this point.But I've found out that I have some medical problems and I felt really down about that so I just let myself eat what ever I felt would help make me feel better. In the short term I felt good but not seeing the results feels really crappy. So now that I have kind of gotten myself out of the self pity rut for the last week, I am starting to regain some of my resolve to stick to a diet. Since I managed to lose weight while eating like a fiend because I was exercising, I can only imagine the great results I can have if I just keep my mouth shut and eat only within my limits!!! I am proud of the fact that I managed to keep the physical activity up though, so that is a definite achievement (at lest for me).
My fingers are crossed, I hope I have better news to report next time.
