T minus one day

The day before the cleanse...

So I've some how convinced Eric and join me in this master cleanse! Most of my co workers have done it so somehow I think I'll be able to do it. I've wanted to do this as many of Paltz buddies can account for but I could never do it. Whether it was for the wrong reasons or just not the right mind set. But now I can feel how badly my body needs a fresh start and I've built the support network around me. Two of my main co workers have actually done the master cleanse. One did it while at work so I know I can do it! Others might not have done the master cleanse but participate in juice cleanses all the time. With all of them supporting/ pushing me I can do it. The most important support would have to be Eric. Somehow I convinced Eric to participate with me on my journey. Having someone going through the exact same thing I'm going though and learning the ropes is HUGE!
I was hoping to juice today but that didn't work too well. I had OJ for breakfast.. some cream of wheat a little later and beet and carrot juice from the juice guy. An apple and a plum a little later. Of course the last day I can have whole foods I got a bad plum so I could only eat half of it... o well! I'm fairly hungry and walking around NYC... not a good thing I called Eric for support... HE HAD SWORDFISH FOR LUNCH!! I'm getting a pretzel!
Ok so I'm picking up all the ingredients... lemons, spring water, syrup and MOVIES!!! (I had picked up the cayenne pepper a while ago when I first thought I could do this alone) My first stop was Trader Joe's. I knew everything was more expensive in the city but I love my Trader Joe's in Danbury CT and I figured they would be reasonable... WRONG! 3 lemons for 3 dollars??? You have got to be kidding me! So I got tons from the street vendor. Yes I know they are not organic but I'm not using the grinds in this one. I'm sure the guy thought I was crazy when I ask how many can I buy... Off to buy the movies knowing I am not leaving the house for the first two days!


Time for some laxative tea! I'm off to bed I'll start tomorrow!!!
