Local Volunteers Please help at Qualcomm
To all our supporters and volunteers,
With the devastation of the San Diego Fires, the Alternative Healing Network and Pacific College of Oriental Medicine are working together to bring massage therapists, acupuncturists, and energy healers to the evacuees.
We are gathering supplies and looking for massage chairs, but what we need more than anything are CANOPY TENTS. They are telling us we are welcome to come down and help, but there's extremely limited space and we're encouraged to make our own. Please respond here as soon as possible if you can bring a large tent, so we can coordinate a location to meet.
At this time, Pacific College is putting together travel acu kits that should be available soon for pick-up if anyone wants to go down to Qualcomm on their own ahead of us.
We are not encouraging anyone to drive a long distance to get here, but if you are near Qualcomm, available and interested in helping, please respond and add your name to our "to call" list.
More updates to follow. Thanks for your help.
Sincerely,
Ryan Altman, L.Ac./ Executive Director
