to be 1000 Years of Peace.
The Enchanted Garden Age
is Intended to follow this one.

The Current Age--
Unlike the Copper Age--
Industrial Age--
Etc. Age, Etc Age,
would have to be called
the Computer Age.
This is an Age of Temporary Insanity.
I can only speak for myself.
My Ground of Being
has now become a 20 inch Screen
with an Apple insignia on it.
I am definitely Eve.
The Snake offered me a Bite.
I took it.
I ate from the Tree of Knowledge
that had no Soul.
I have gone out to find myself,
not in.
My Original Computer Promised me More Power.
It was a Little Square Box that cost around $3000.00
or more including Printer. I think it had 512K
and you used disks.
I bought into the Apple with relish.
Now look.
I am among those whose hands are starting to hurt.
I have been on a Laptop since the beginning of this Millennium,
two in fact. The second, the HInge broke.
This summer it had two Major Crashes...
Lost Directory. The second time it failed,
I was not backed up.
What a Gift to realize how completely
Computer Dependent I have become.
IT is not as easy to find a Solution
to the Dilemma.
My new machine is has the Latest..
The latest this, the latet that.
The Learning Curse--I mean Curve--
is outrageious. The emotional trauma
from no longer being able to access
financial data, address book, emails,
organization was trying. Some things
are still lost.
This New Machine will likely be Obsolete as far as Keeping up
within three to five years.
My old laptop, new in 2002,
could not even upload photos into the Curezone Gallery.
I could no longer view Finances on line.
My Quicken was no longer Quick--
it was practically useless for Bank Communication.
"They" already have the New Mac.
They already have a New Operating System
even though I am just getting use to this Safari
someone is taking me on.
I am one of the Animals in this jungle.
I would not think of doing with my Illness,
perpetual Computerization.
I use it for my Art.
I use it to write about God.
I use it to connect with some sense
of Community that knows more about me
than the people I live with.
I truly believe this is the Millennium
that will go down when all is said and done
as 1000 years of peace.
I would like to play a Little Role in this
as compensation of the Temporary Insanity
I have bought into.
I am sure the Answer to the Computer Age
will be the Enchanted Garden Age.
IT will be a time when people do not stop Computer
but moreso, have Green Computer Zones, starting
with Living Mini Enchanted Gardens around them.
Even Grass in little containers I am sure will lead
us Home to the World Wide Web of Life, if we commit
to grow Seeds ourself.
It is time in the Garden that asks presence.
I am here, Mother Earth wants to here.
There is no Excused Absense, only a list
of yet unnamed Computer Ailments.
Many of us need a 12 Step group for
Computer Addiction. The Steps would be
a Prophet Recovery Program that begins
with each person Keeping a
Garden Management Journal.
Garden Management Journal.
The Garden is Consciousness.
The "Management" of your own life
is intended to be you.
Your Journal--your Weblog--
your Blog--is a meticulous recording
of what you learn,
and hopefully what helps
