God Connection, a powerful day after all.
Make Progress, even with a panic attack.

Tiffany, the program director has offered me another page
in the Speaker's Handbook to talk about what Practiitioners/
students can do to help the farmers.
I am going to expand this into a summary page
of What we can do now to Heal the Earth.
Today was a formidable day.
I went into a panic attack learning how
to turn an Iphoto album into a slideshow
folder on Iphoto and then import this into IDVD,
the application that can actually burn a slideshow
with music and voice.
I got a lot of support from Brandon, the Applications Tech
I talked to at Apple. They give wonderful support, but
the first Tier of Techs do not know the new applications
such as this Iphoto8, and so there is a long wait going
from one Tech to another.
There are some Tutorials on line on the Apple Website
I had to rest after the panic sessions, and come to terms
with this lifelong ailment of learning disability that comes up
when I am attempting to learn new things, especially under
pressure. The emotions are intense. I swing in obsession,
as if I have to get this, or else I am a failure. The emotions
here are tied in with what I will be able to do for the Pacific Symposium '07
November 8-11.
Mariah came through today and will help with the loading up.
He will attend classes on Thursday and Friday for sure.
The last glitch: We can load up on Wednesday here,
but not set up until early Thursday morning.
The conference registration starts at 8 AM.
It takes about three hours to set up for us.
Last night, while shopping at Whole Foods,
I went up an alley in my mind and started to wonder
why I was doing this in the first place.
Am I getting farther and farther away from seeing
my on the shelf books in circulation through being committed
to doing so many events and activities that take me away from
actual writing? Blogging is my main writing activity and gives
me a lot of satisfaction.
The Rabbi Wayne was talking the other day at the 20 Minute Kabbalah
workshop about the difference in these times between publishing
books as he does it--he has ten out--and the nature of these times-
where we Blog and get published/seen around the world potentially within
seconds.
I need an attitude adjustment.
The new Imac will lead me to producing DVD's with music and teachings.
I took some baby steps toward that today.
I just bought my first pack of DVD's
I want to have a few slideshows going, and available
that the Practitioners can view at the Enchanted Garden
Plant Your Dream Altar.
Why do I do this conference?
It is profounding healing to go through the steps
to create an Enchanted Garden Installation.
There are beautiful people who come.
I will end up with some things to sell.
I will get a lot of strokes for my work.
The conference is long enough to make some special connections.
I really get seen.
I spend so much time in front of this computer.
This is one of my main opportunities to have a FOCUS.
I am so scattered with ideas and projects.
There is no way to succeed at a Conference without FOCUS.
It really fine tunes me doing this.
It is also my opportunity to in three dimentions create a Sacred Space
and show in this world, what is going on in my head.
We create a Sacred Space.
Part of the healing I did today was getting some of the most
important documents for the year into the mail this afternoon.
The Power of Attorney forms went to my niece Eva, including
a bill from the Attorney. It is now up to my father to decide what
he wants to do. I wrote him a brief note saying I would be his power
of attorney if he wants; otherwise, my niece, who lives in LA, can do this.
I trust her. He also needs a health directive. He will have problems with
the bill from the attorney. He still does not have too much of
a clue why a power of attorney is important. Hopefully, he will get
the point. I have to let go of that for now.
Remarkably, my IRS report for 2006 got here today from Lee,
a dear Enchanted Garden Support. He does this for me each year
from my numbers. I mailed that off.
I also paid the rent, and deposited the funds to pay for
this new computer. I need to give myself some strokes
for raising a good portion of the $1500.00 I spent to far.
I did get support through my first activities of the year--
The Whole Being Weekend, and the Days of Awe.
I even got an anonymous contribution of $100.00
that arrived the other day from someone at B'nai Horin
who earmarked funds for me. Angels.
I also want to be grateful for the 20 minute Kabbalah workshop
I attended on Sunday, and the appreciation from Rabbi Wayne
and Ellen for the images I took the Sunday before.
This is a wonderful book and the Chant CD with the voice
of Cantor Kathy Robbins is truly awesome.
These chants are impactful and helping me increase God
Connection.
