Come my friends,
Let us make no more walls and fences.
Let us grow peaches between us.
Close your eyes. Hold my hand.
Let’s make peace through asking,
listening, and affirming
the Enchanted Garden on earth
that exists deep, deep, within us.
May we open our eyes to peace as well,
use gardening tools to uplift each other,
spades to confirm peace
visibly before us.

let us taste peace in holy foods
forever; smell peace in wild baby herbs

My back muscles still feel reactive but the healing of my back after surgery is in good shape, verified as of aug. 13, 2018. I was in the hospital 12 days. Surgery was may 1. Noticed some sprinkling of raindrops that day.

Today is Monday, March 26, 2018
Needing to give myself self compassion this morning. My health concerns are a full time requirement. It is taking two of us, Adrienne and I, and I am hardly keeping up. I find myself stressing over the completes I would like to do, and these completes would also be my regular near full time job if my health concerns were not a top priority.
For six years, either alone or with support, I was able to drive my 68 Vw van up to Santa Rosa from San Diego. This trip was never easy. I am in the doldrums. It is late at night. I am asking who can I call? It is 10:41 pm. Then, I do get a call.
