It certainly works to "clean" you out without the cramping and discomfort of laxatives and the like. I only drank one teaspoon of sea salt in my full glass of water rather than 2 teaspoons, which is what was recommended. I may not have gotten the full cleanse but it helped my blockage situation definitely and I felt better after that.

I did it in the evening - For about 2-3 hours I had to stay pretty near the bathroom because there wasn't much warning before I needed to get in there. I mean I literally could not go downstairs to start laundry or anything. But the next morning I felt great.

Don't know if it would be like that for everyone but it wasn't so bad - other than choking down the salt water. I HATE the taste of salt.
