HI,
I have done one juice fast. I'm currently slimming down for my wedding, and have considered doing some fasting, but there are pros and cons there for me (I'm trying to learn to eat moderately to lose weight, not just to fast, which doesn't do you any good if you can't eat well after you stop fasting).
So one of the cons is I've really stepped up my exercise routine, and everything I've read has led me to believe that lifting is a little much on a fast. How do you find it?
My normal (4-5 times a week) workout is 4 miles on the bike, 20 minutes on the treadmill jogging, then a weight circuit for about 30 minutes.
I'm currently really working hard, and I'm juicing for dinner, but i'm eating as well. I'm thinking closer to the wedding I'll fast, when I can turn down the workout intensity a bit and fast.
Your thoughts? I'm so curious about exercise on a fast. Also, do you get any skin reaction to so much acid? I can't juice oranges much, it really makes me break out.
