This is SO disturbing to me as a mommy and a wife. I am not vegetarian nor vegan, but believe that it is each parent's decision as to what to feed their child. I breastfed and know all about the growth and weight gain of BF babies vs formula fed. I am very upset by this story - what is next??? I literally feel sick to my stomach. I feel for the mom who is away from her baby and the baby who obviously loves and misses his mom and dad. What is our country coming to?? I signed the petition and have sent a few letters out today. Is there anything else that I can do. Has the news media been contacted, newspapers, etc?? I would like to help in whatever way I can. At this point in the case is there any hope of getting LOVE back soon?? Thanks Lapis for bringing this story to the board. I just wish more would step up and sign the petition. Have a peaceful night.
