What would you recommend me and my 6 year old daughter took stool test and tested positive for dientamoeba after having al the ugly symptoms. I was prescribed paromomycin for 8 days and my daughter metrodinazole for 10 days. We both are still having symptoms and it obviously didn't work. We live in New York. I'm going to a nutritionist to start a vegan gluten free diet. What would you suggest? What medications will help both of us? I was told that more antibiotics only will make things worse- and I see that's first try hasn't really worked too! Please give me any advice you have! Thank you!
