I am a nurse and recently experienced my first ever sinus infection after a cold. I was sick for almost two weeks and finally went to the urgent care for some antibiotics. Omnicef and Prednisone were ordered. I finshed those. Two weeks later, it seemed like it was getting worse, did research and found that some sinus infection take two rounds of antibiotics to clear. Went back to the urgent care for another rx, this time Avelox and another 10 days of Prednisone. The Prednisone was making me have huge mood swings, almost manic behavior and I could not take more than 6 days of that. I did manage to finish the antibiotics. I was still having sinus congestion, headaches, tooth pain, and a foul odor from my sinues but there was no way I was taking any more antibiotics or Prednisone. I did more research on sinusitis and came across this website and the ACV with mother treatment. I bought some and have had 30cc/2tbsp in 8 oz water for the last three days and my sinus symptoms are basically gone. I can't say it is for sure cause and effect but it is way too coincidental that after almost 6 wks of dealing with this, after drinking ACV with mother for 3 days, on the 4th day, no real symptoms. I would say that is a cure.
