Ok, more discovery.

Have been attaching a wrapped crystal to a powerful magnet. I do not know the strength or measurement of this magnet, but it is 4"x6"x1" and is simply, powerful.

With my voltage meter, I am registering approx 1/3rd the of the measurements that I do when powering the crystal with a Frequency generator/amplifier. And the same things occur when I disconnect the magnet. The measurements fall to 0. When attached, and the other end of the meter is making contact with my hand for instance, the readings jump to approx 1/3rd of what is generated by the Freq generator. When the contact point is used to touch other objects, the measurement falls to 0, or perhaps little bumps in the reading. It is only when it makes contact with a point of the body, like the hand, or another contact point, the measurement jumps to an easily discernible and predictable output.
