Sometimes you can find the best techniques in the most peculiar places. I did that first awakening exercise years ago when I found it linked to on a forum; while I don't remember what forum, I do remember that the strange site it's on has actually an awakening exercise for each chakra (and of course, these awakening exercises can be recapitulated later if you're seeking to focus as a particular chakra ~ the second of the above two exercises is probably better for this sort of treatment than the first, but I've never found the need to reuse the first one so see for yourself if you like).

As I said, the site is a rather peculiar one - called the Joy of Satan, it proclaims that the demons of christian mythology/the deities of sumerian mythology are actually extraterrestrials, as well as the true gods of humanity. What you'll find on this site you will probably misuse if you take its dogmatic chaff with the grain of the exercises you can find there. However, if you're the type of person who explores from paradigm to paradigm and has a sense about relative truth, consider the site a test of your conception's boundary conditions.
