You have gotten it right on Chef Jem  What we need is representives who vote the "Peoples" conscience  not the whims and wishes of the Large Special Interest groups...  This goes for most all of the stuff Congress does; when will the tax paying citizens get upset enough to demand it!

 Notice Taxpaying citizen is used as there are many none tax paying persons who are just helping to keep the professional politicians in power!  The founding fathers had the right idea in that not everyone should be able to vote...   Remember "No taxation with out representation" or what caused the Boston Tea Party?  

 i.e. Why would people who do not pay any taxes have any say in how the tax money is spent?  

  The system needs to be overhauled, and auto term limits accomplish by not voting in an incumbent...  If they are not getting reelected then they can concentrate on the needs of the people and set up a golden parachute retirement.  

 Fair Tax and never reelect a Congress person will go a long way toward improvement...
