Very nice... as always! Does your mandala come from your own inspiration... or is it from a particular culture with historical and symbolic representations? I'm curious because someone had given my roommate a gift to give to me and it is a small handmade "dream catcher"... which I put in quotes because that's how he referred to it in his note... and yet I knew it was similar to a dream catcher but not the same. Two days ago... I was looking at it again and it dawned on me that it is a Native medicine shield... albeit a plain one... made with undecorated hide and feathers streaming from it. I went online to look up other shields and your mandala reminds me of some of the designs I saw.
