I suppose I could, but I was told it was a good idea not to and that in a couple of days the dry skin issue should pass and my skin should be soft as a baby's. I guess I'm just interested in the experiment and am afraid that if I start using lotion I won't be able to tell when the transition takes place. If it gets REALLY bad and the itch is intolerable than I certainly will! So far, it's not terrible, I'm just noting it since it was mentioned as one of the side effects in detoxing and I just wanted to say "Oh yeah, I'm getting that too!" :}
