You will find the difference between adding one tablespoon of ES to a coffee enema solution and retaining it for 20 minutes or less...and taking one tablespoon of ES orally, to have an entirely different effect on your body. The former (coffee enema) delivers ES directly to your liver via the hemorrhoidal arteries in the colon (plus whatever absorbs into the bloodstream through the lining of the colon), the latter (oral ingestion), delivers the ES to the bloodstream via typical digestive action. The action of the ES doesn't peak in the bloodstream until approximately 45 minutes when taken orally...so to witness it's effect on a coffee enema, one would have to know precisely when the action of the ES took place in *their* body, and take the enema accordingly.
>>>I don't know if you're familiar with my posts, but my mother-in-law was cured of Stage IV terminal liver cancer back in the late 70's in the underground clinics of Dr. William Donald Kelley...and since coffee enemas WITH Epsom Salts were part of his daily protocol & healing regime, we have done a LOT of self-experimenting with this (and research).
Dr. Kelley's coffee-enema-solution was basically 4 tablespoons of organic coffee, 4 cups distilled water and 2 tablespoons of ES. I have found two tablespoons of ES to be more than what my body is comfortable with - my husband and m-i-l (now over 80 years old) are comfortable with the two tablespoons.<<<
You mentioned: "Right side, back and left side each for about five minutes, then a final 2 minutes on my back again, then released."
If you're not aware, the goal is to keep as much of the coffee enema solution in the sigmoid colon area as possible (where the majority of the 'ductwork' leading to the liver is located). This is done most effectively by staying on the left side (some switch to their backside). You can easily tell which position is most effective for you personally by using a stethoscope when doing a coffee enema...it's absolutely amazing what one little change in a 'knee bend', leg placement, or subtle switch in side position will result in (as far as the liver activity you can clearly discern when using the stethoscope).
Personally, I don't feel/see any way to get accurate 'test results' when preceding the coffee enema by a 2 quart Salt Water Flush (although it would be effective in seeing what may be expelled from the liver/gall bladder during the enema process, of course). The body is in a state that's not 'natural' to itself following a SWF (with the digestive tract being virtually *void* of various substances and having much of the gut flora disturbed or eliminated). After a SWF, the body goes into what I refer to as "restore mode" (replenishing hydration, electrolytes, and basically 'recovering' from having it's entire digestive system 'flushed clean') ...hence blood pressure and blood sugar readings (basically ANY "reading" or activity) will be skewed from 'normal' until the body 'restores' itself to natural. Those reading may indicate something to someone who is extremely knowledgeable about the various effects on the body of a SWF, but I see no way to adequately or properly interpret the data from the blood sugar/blood pressure tests. As in, did the SWF flush cause the fluctuations/changes? The ES? The coffee enema? Or what combination of the three (and which was "weighted" most heavily of the three?
In order to effectively compare the effects of a coffee enema WITHOUT taking ES orally, and the effects of a coffee enema WITH taking ES orally, absolutely each and every variable leading up to the coffee enema for hours/days would have to be 100% controlled. And that includes eating exactly the same thing for at least a day and ingesting the exact same amount of water (and supplements). That'd give you a *closer to adequate* result, but wouldn't take into play any of the other of the variables known to effect blood sugar/pressure...such as emotional state & stress levels. Some folks' blood pressure readings can vary 20-30 points simply from the 'stress' (felt/known or unknown/felt) of administering the blood pressure test. And of course, blood sugar reading can vary drastically for what appears to be no reason at all. So quite a few "controlled" tests would have to be repeated over various periods in order to obtain data that could actually be used in reaching a conclusion.
AND - Epsom Salts is KNOWN to effect both blood pressure AND blood sugar quite substantially. So you'd have to do several highly controlled tests on yourself with ES, taking blood sugar and blood pressure readings...and then you'd have some idea of how your blood sugar/pressure reacted to the ES. THEN you could add the coffee enema variable and see what effect that had. And THEN you'd have to take into account the amount of caffeine absorbed into the bloodstream from the coffee enema...as caffeine ALSO has a measurable effect on both blood sugar and blood pressure.
Whew.
You said you took 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne powder mixed with water before bed. Cayenne DEFINITELY regulates/normalizes blood pressure & circulation. The powder (the higher the HU Heat Unit rating the better) will be a more 'steady release'; the tincture (being alcohol based & immediately absorbing through the stomach lining into the bloodstream), will be a more immediate 'hit'. If you're having bp issues and need to get them stabilized, 1/2-1 teaspoon of the hottest cayenne blend powder you can get, 5 times daily will safely stabilize your bp until you can correct the issues that are causing it in the first place. The hottest powder/blend on the market (organic) that I know of are available here:http://www.herbdoc.com/home_1024x768.asp

(they're basically the same).
And like I mentioned before, raw garlic is THE BOMB for regulation of blood sugar (and for cleaning out arterial plaque, and for thinning our 'sludgy blood')...but if you do any researching, make SURE the studies are using RAW GARLIC. Any dried, dehydrated, standardized extract or typical 'garlic preparation' does NOT have the same effect. And raw garlic also is THE most effect treatment for parasites.
'Hope that all gives you some useful information to utilize. I logged on and was getting ready to check something on Telman's blog about ES, saw your post and just started typing away...'sorry if I 'rambled your ear off'.
Blessings -
