Well I happen to like to eat it raw. Odorless garlic pills don't have as much allicin as the stinky stuff. I don't mind the pills but my in-law and I grow it in the yard. I chew two or three cloves for maintainence everty day. I also take ascorbyl palmitate and fish oil, actually it's a body oil complex with vitamin e and such. Then I try to walk every day. My pressure is about 90/70 or 100/80 on very active days. My FIL was recently taken off his blood pressure meds. Doctor says he doesn't need them. I tend to think it's the exercise along with his vitamins.
As for diabetes, well I did a test on myself using apple cider vinegar in water and it lowered my sugar ten points without food. If I had food two hours before and then did the needle stick, it lowered it about five points. Bitter melon, or what my mom calls cerasee, is excellent for the sugar. It's not just a country remedy anymore because I see some drug company is trying to isolate the active chemical and make a diabetes drug out of it. If you google the term you can find some research. It's best eaten raw but it's bitter as heck. Mom might like the pills. You can get them at Vitamin Shoppe. Mom needs to exercise and eat lots of fiber. Add This Message To Your CureZone Favorites!
