Memorial Day was so much fun. We went to the Russian River with "The Hound" and sunned ourselves most of the afternoon. Felt so good. Even the smell of hot dogs and burgers grilling didn't bother me. After most of the people left we went skinny dipping. Well I did because I couldn't fit into my skinny boyfriend's swim trunks. He's 5'11" and 140 lbs! I'll be happy to fit into some his clothes again. He said he's noticed how much happier and confident I am on this juice fast. He's been very supportive even though he insists he doesn't care about the weight loss part of it. When I told him last week I had lost 13lbs, he said, "Well now you practically weigh nothing." HA! What a good guy. I got hungry in the evening and decided to have some miso broth. OMG. What a treat. I researched here in the forums and also the ingredients on-line to make sure it wasn't a cheat. I just strained out all the veggies & tofu. Although, I did notice today that I went up another 1/2 a lb. Maybe all the salt in the broth?? I won't worry about it but it's never fun to see the numbers go up on the scale when you aren't eating! The miso broth will have to be in moderation (if at all) as I continue this fast. All in all I'm enjoying this experience!
