Like David McCullough suggests, "let it be an experience"; I shall do just that and let mu June fast to be an adventure of all sorts from the ecstatic peaks to the bottomless doldrums (I take the latter back haha). Let's rock this body.

I did my annual shopping spree the evening before. I took a bus to Toa Payoh Estate which is known for the variety of goods and cheap bargains. Initially, I was there to collect a pair of silver shoes I had reserved several days before but I ended up coming across countless gorgeous articles of items, I decided to go shopping. I bought 4 short summer dresses: a satin blue tubetop with sequins, a satin green halter with sequins, a romantic pale violet with a ribbon and a flowing slip with a riot of brown, orange and nude hues.I bought lingerie: a black and a white g-strings
and a purple g-string along with a babydoll (my bf will go nuts about this). I also bought a sophisticated velvet black heels and collected my silver strap shoes. Grand total : $270.95. All I need to get now are two pairs of short shorts and some makeup. These will be my rewards at the end of the fast, when I am fully well. I cannot wait!!!!

It is still early of my first day. I will drop by again later.

    Lots of love.

        Dear Katiemarie,

I can TELL you, being a woman, is mighty exciting. We get to have an electic style of clothes, full of colours, cuts and culture-range. Then, we have accessories like rings, earrings, shoes and bags. Finally, makeup. WOW. How do I use those things (makeup)? haha

In my teens, I was more of a girl's next door, in love with anything paired with jeans, with my signature big dangling earrings and the simple natural look. I was not into fanciful makeup and skirts were such a no-no.

However, ever since I turned 19, I began to feel like a woman in more feminine clothes with skirts then dresses, because I HAVE CURVESSSS!! I used to hate them, until the man I am in love with now told me, "Damn, you are so beautiful."

I am learning to be a woman. haha It is mighty interesting. And I absolutely ADORE off-shoulder short dresses, big earrings, classic shoes, rings and a touch of eyeliner and lip gloss. Beautiful!

        haha.

Nice to have such a cheerful comment.Lots of love.

    • A beautiful life   by  lilly1     17 y     2,684
      Hi Isabella
I did the same thing when I started fasting. A shopping spree! I love to feel beautiful in my clothes. And when I am comfortable and confident in what I'm wearing it helps my emotions some, too. And it's definitely a better crutch than food!?
Stay strong, the first 3 days aren't easy. But once you get beyond that you'll feel better. Feel free to ask, it you have any fasting questions.
On your last post and responses: You don't have to know a path or plan to put down a high goal. Just coming up with the intention is a powerful force in itself. You deserve to reach all those goals even if you don't work hard to reach them!
Isn't that la bella vita? Have it all and have it easy!
      Love,
      Lilly
