Blog: The Master Cleanse Express
Day 18 progressed fine for me. I was a woman on a mission of
escalating my cayenne in my lemonade. It was as effective as
Detour bragged about and although it did make my belly ache,
I thought it was worth it. I doubt I will go further than a
1/4th of a teaspoon for now, but certainly I will continue to
do it.
Had rain on and off again, and the ground soaked it up since we
have been having a drought. There were parts of the day when the
sun actually came out and I went outside to check out the property
and inspect the garden.
I did real well with my Master Cleanse program. I felt my energy
rise and since I had been having some low days, I was eager to
keep up my water intake to chase the loosened gunk down and out.
It worked!
Much of my spare time I did research and made up a short list of
things to do while I was still on the cleanse. Number 1, reorganize
my closet!! blech...ggg
My evening began and I went to let the dogs in. I saw outside, very
close, the biggest thunderhead I have ever seen in person, filled with
lightning and rather ominous looking. I did not want to be barefooted
on the wet ground so went and put on my shoes but went out again to
watch this cloud system. It was awesome and moving very very slowly.
I did not know what direction it was headed so I definitely prayed
that monster would not come my way!
The storm continued through the night...we must have been in the
feeder bands of the storm I saw since we received rain but not wind
or hail. Again, no visit outside but a delicious cup of chocolate
Smooth Move and a hot bath made me sleep like a baby.
The morning, day 19, brought news of massive flooding in Houston. The
bayous are out of their banks and traffic on the highway had been
stopped for hours and there is no where for the water to go and the
rain is still coming. My heart goes out to those stranded and those
flooded. One channel said 12 inches of rain had fallen overnight.
So, the Governor is sending National Guard and the news is non-stop
so between jumping and running with my SWF, I am glued to the tube
watching as the crisis grows and "shelter-in-place" instructions are
given. Police stations were evacuated, cruisers, flooded out.
Traffic is at a standstill...many places.
It feels good to be safe at home. I am happy about that....
My inspiration for today is a little essay on *Waiting*. The author
is unknown.

We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married,
have a baby, then another. Then we are frustrated that the kids
aren't old enough and we'll be more content when they are. After
that we're frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We will
certainly be happy when they are out of that stage. We tell ourselves
that our life will be complete when our spouse gets his or her act
together, when we get a nicer car, are able to go on a nice vacation,
when we retire.
The truth is, there's no better time to be happy than right now.
Your life will always be filled with challenges. It's best to admit
this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway. One of my favorite
quotes comes from Alfred D Souza. He said, "For a long time it had
seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was
always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first,
some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid.
Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles
were my life."
This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to
happiness. Happiness is the way. So, treasure every moment that
you have.
Stop waiting until you finish school, until you go back to school,
until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have
kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until
you retire, until you get married, until you get divorced, until
Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or home,
until your car or home is paid off, until spring, until summer,
until fall, until winter, until you are off welfare, until the first
or fifteenth, until your song comes on, until you've had a drink,
until you've sobered up, until you die, until you are born again
to decide that there is no better time than right now to be happy.

Best cayenne to use is 30,000 units and deep beautiful red. Organic if possible. But better to use more of the low power cayenne than the 90,000 unit cayenne. The lower heat cayenne will be delivered with more helpful co-factors
