I received an invitation today for a friend's 1st Annual Bar-b-que, meet-n-EAT party! Any other time, I would love to go but I am committed to staying focused on my goal, AND I am not strong enough YET to go and smell cooking beast and watch people walk around with food in their hands! I suppose I will just have to stay strong and drink lemonade!
AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
being well,
Zoe

Since you inspire so many, I'll try to inspire you to know you can do it. I started for the first time last Saturday. Sunday evening we went to a Rangers game. Lots of eating all around and the smells were wonderful. But I'd just started, so I took the lemonade and water and went. No problem. Then Monday we went out to dinner with friends. I think if it was just my husband and me I would have had a hard time. But because of the lemonade and water I was fine.
Try buying a gread new container for the lemonade. Go with it on ice, even Sonic ice (the best ice around Texas). Then just enjoy. Everyone knows you and will be behind what you are doing. They are your friends!!

You're right!!
Today I feel stronger than I did yesterday although certainly I know I am coming into this cleanse only 75% motivated so I may have to really get a few more days behind me but it is nice to know that somewhere inside me there truly is some significant resolve...ggg
I already got the special bottle...a half dozen of them...since ordinary water bottles leach chemicals from the plastic. I am a glass or polycarbonate girl. Here is a link to the bottles I like. I travel in a van with a cooler so am always ready to spend the night, roll out a spontaneous picnic or keep going...ggg.

Thanks for your encouragement though since I had not really thought about it, but you are really right. I did not find it difficult to be around food the last cleanse but it was later in the game. This round, the commercials are already annoying me and some of my cravings feel like a monkey on my back!!
Best of luck with YOUR cleanse...you are doing FABULOUS!!
Blessings,
Zoe

I know how you feel. This is my third cleanse and I have to say the hardest in terms of motivation and being around food. I know I would crack if I was around it too long. The first cleanse I made dinner for my family every night, went out, even grocery shopping, no problem. This time, I won't cook meals that aren't done in 5 minutes (unless they help if I have to leave the room), I won't see a movie (popcorn and hotdog smell, and I don't even eat it normally), etc. I had blood work last week and the Doctor called and said I was slightly anemic. Someone said, "eat liver and onion". I was craving liver and onions all day. I haven't eaten liver and onions since I was a child and my Mother made me. Go figure. Maybe I was stronger before because so many people were watching to see if I went off. But I wasn't hungry on the first two. I'm hungry all of the time on this one. Maybe I am getting closer to that pink tongue. Never have seen that on a cleanse, yet. Oh, well, I will probably dream of barbeques. Aloha
