Clam Chowder is a humorous collection of true stories and tips from the front of the house and beyond. Everything a server needs to know - or already knows - from washing uniforms in the dish tank to having sex in the walk-in freezer.
Lehman has worked in restaurants as a busboy, dishwasher, server, bartender, and manager. In other words, he knows the drill. Clam Chowder is his second book. He is a published poet and has also optioned a few shorts scripts with one currently in development.
Whether you’ve worked in restaurants your entire life or have never tried on non-skid shoes, Clam Chowder will entertain and educate you on the wonderful world of restaurant service.

I worked in restaurants as a manager/waitress/dishwasher/food prepper ect. for nearly 4 years in 5 different restaurants -
Rookie compaired to most, veteran compaired to others, but OMG I am FULL of stories from the restaurant business - and I appreciate the stories I hear from others who have been/are in this line of work, as well.
