Yesterday I went to see my gyno for a pap and he told me I had a fibroid. I got a little bummed out because I secretly wonder if that is why I've not been able to lose weight. I wondered how much of my belly is the fibroid.
Anyway, I'm putting a self imposed limit on my coffee consumption, regular especially! I'll be posting about this regularly since I want a flat belly and be able to have children. My mother had surgery to take hers out and they took her womb too :(
I worked all weekend and well it was worth it on one hand because it's extra money. OTOH, I did not get to work out as much. I did manage to work all body parts except the legs because I was walking to work and working 12 hours shifts too. I'm buying a diet/exercise tracker for the palm pilot. It's been a while since I bought a gadget. If this post seems a little confused, it's because I've been busy helping a rescue kitten get adjusted to my apartment and dog :-) I need to desperately catch up on errands and get back to waking up very early to say prayers, etc.

I had a fibroid the size of a grapefruit. I grew them so quickly I had to have surgery twice, and the second time they did a partial hysterectomy so I wouldn't have to go through it a third time. I don't know if fibroids weigh enough to prevent you from seeing a difference on the scale, but they can certainly be big enough to crowd out your other organs and cause problems. Glad you got it checked out!
