Well guys I'm back from France. I have to say that it's near impossible to eat raw with convenience in that country. Forget about raw, how about vegetarian? Vegan? LOL forget it. France is a vegan's nightmare. The cheese was wonderful and the cafe cremes were great but after a while, I got sick of it. I did not have the access to fresh fruits and vegetables that I thought I would. City is definately unhealthy and the thing that Parisians have on their side is walking. The second leg of the honeymoon we stayed in Normandie, land of cheese and meat. Not a tomato in sight. I didn't eat raw but I tried to get some salads because I was sick of cheese and bread. One night my salad had dirt on it which just confirmed to me, my hesitance to order salads at ANY restaurant, even raw food ones. Anyway, I came back with a raging sinus infection probably brought on by the awful public restrooms in France, the plane air on the return trip which made my cold worse, and most of all the large amounts of cheese I was eating. In hindsight, I should have slowed down but the travel was a whirl and I was exhausted the first week of the trip. That could have contributed to the cold too.
I'm ready for the raw life, ready to achieve the goals I outlined for myself. Today and tomorrow I'm taking a colon cleanse tea to clean out my bowels and am going for a colonic. I decided to do that while I was in France. I think getting backed up from the bread cotributed to the cold as well. I'm in severe need of a detox. Sunday I'm leaving for my new home so I have the rest of the week to clean my system out. My coffee addiction was tempered by the lack of Starbucks in France. My husband bought me Starbucks yesterday but I just didn't care for it. I have no cravings for it so right now is a good time to do my EFT for coffee cravings.

Thanks! My mindset came back very strong. I have a new mindset about food and how heavy cooked foods can weigh you down. My husband and I are going back to France next year and I'd love to see the differences!
