I admit that this weekend I was not in control of my diet. All the running around and not being prepared with any healty foods caused low blood sugar, headaches, arguments with my mother, etc. However, I make it all the way through. I got a tremendous amount of exercise despite eating non-raw and non-healthy. I walked up and down the street in Boro Park, Brooklyn looking for wedding hats with my mom. I have to say that although a corn muffin is non-raw, a kosher corn muffin tastes identical to the corn muffin at the Whole Foods in Manhasset. I had coffee today too and a doughnut but I'm moving on and not going to guilt trip myself over it.
Tomorrow it's back on the raw weightloss path and my committment to exercise, esp. my bikram yoga.

I have really enjoyed using raw as a way to control my eating. It's a great way to KNOW you're making a choice that's going to be good for you, and you're going to feel good the next day.
You do it when you can, you eat regularly when you can't. It's a great way to "default" to good choices, and damn if some of that stuff doesn't taste good!
The day is coming soon, my dear - you're going to be awesome.
I looked at that boot camp thing you have on this blog - I didn't know you had this blog till last weekend. Looks intense, and really helpful. I can't believe I didn't find this stuff earlier.
I think of you, wedding sister.

I like the bootcamp. I joined to see what it was like and it's great. I may rejoin bootcamp after the wedding. Right now the stress level is high and money to pay for it is ZERO, less than zero :-)
