Blog: Fasting & Detox: Juicing for first time
I just had the most awesome juice mix:
1/2 pineapple
2 oranges
1 red (bloody?) tangerine
1/2 sweet potato
Chill in the refrigerator/freezer for about a half an hour.
I was SO afraid of juicing sweet potatoes, but it was a pleasant suprised.
It tastes like the melted, leftover orange sherbert that you drink once you have eaten the frozen part. It has the same consistency, too.
Yum! Enjoy!

My apologies. It's 1/4 of a pineapple, NOT 1/2. Happy juicing!

This is such an interesting recipe!
Have been so programmed to follow "proper food combining" and not mix veggies with fruits, but I think that does not always apply, especially with juices and with raw eating (if eating all raw anyhow)...
Today I made juice with celery, beets, radish, garlic, ginger and apples but then tasted it and wanted more sweet so added pineapple. I knew it was okay to put apples in with veggie juice but felt like I was "breaking the law" or something when I added some pineapple, LOL.
