Blog: 40 Days To Life
Not much to report today so far. Still having pain and weakness. I did manage to go to the grocery store and get some good raw fruits and veggies. I used a wheelchair for shopping and had to ask for help a few times, but all went well. For lunch I had some raw broccoli and carrots dipped in a tangy dressing I made from extra virgin olive oil and raw apple cider vinegar with a touch of raw honey and sea salt. It was so good. For dessert I had a few grapes and some frozen blueberries (can't afford the fresh ones). Now, I just need to keep up the good habits and not fall back into emotional binge eating. When I'm stronger and can walk and stand better I want to do some fresh juicing and perhaps another fast, but for now I have to go the easy way.

I just wanted you to know I went to teach a kayaking classs yesterday...but the gear person didn't come so I had to come up with something else to do. I brought some carrots, broccoli, and grapes and some spring water. We took the labels off of the water bottles and I asked the kids write good things about water like love and gratitude(Dr Emotto)and all of the kids wrote messages on the inside and taped it back on the bottle. I said what your parents put in the water 10 years ago may be in the water you may be drinking today. I told the kids if they were to feed a plant sodas would it grow...the answer was no...and one girl said she dranks sodas so much it made her sick... I said what makes plants grow...clean water, sunhine, and soil...the kids responded. Where you live can be making you healthy or sick. Not getting enough sunshine can make you sick. Not drinking or eating good healthy food and clean water can make you healthy or sick. I am glad you are on the path to good help. I told the kids that what you put in your body today may also affect your children some day. We ate the raw veggies and drank our water. It was amazing to see the kids eating all of the broccoli. They said they only wanted a little bit then asked for more. It was an amazing experiment. I wish I could repeat the class in every school everywhere. We talked about water where we will kayak and canoe...we talked about recycling motor oil...but mostly what the kids said was that what you put into anything is what you get out... You might try that label on your water and put words on it like "healed," "love," "grattitude" and drink good water. I will start putting prayers from this end. Blessings...love...joy...laughter..sunshine...this is my prayer for you. I am sending it your way,
Rudi
