Blog: My First Cleanse
| It's 5am and I've been up most of the night with my usual insomnia. I'm hoping this cleanse will help me with that, among other things. I been researching cleanses for about a year now and have always wanted to do one, but haven't out of fear of failure. It is my lack of willpower that has got me in the state I'm in and I am looking to regain it with this cleanse. Over time I have developed very poor eating and drinking habits that are now taking a severe toll on my body and my health. I can not seem to break my addictions to fast food, refined sugars and alcohol despite the fact that I know they are bad for me. It is emotional eating for sure. It is how I have learned to deal with stress and I want to find a new way of doing things. I know that the first few days may be difficult because I'm going to have withdrawls from all of the crap I have been putting in my body for so long, but I am going to do this! My initial goal is 7 days. I would like to go a bit longer than that, but I know that I do much better with a few short term goals as opposed to one big long goal. Thank all of you juice cleansers that wrote blogs to inspire me and assist me in knowing what to expect! I'll post again tonight at the end of day 1. I'm off to the gym...

| This is my first day, too. you can do it. we can do it. Hang in there. I hear day two is hard, but day three is much better. Keep up the good work.
