Blog: Observations
Okay, I just posted this on the "News" forum, but then I realized that I want to add it to my blog. This is upsetting to me! I can't bring my own water on board????
These are the new rules - on USA domestic flights and flights to/from the U.K., NO BEVERAGES or liquids may be brought onto the plain. They have beverages, of course, but you can't bring them. Same thing for toothpaste, herbal liquid tinctures, makeup, etc. So you would need to put any of these things into your check-in baggage (would could be lost or stolen).
I haven't flown since they made this change. I have been bringing my OWN water for a long time. I finally came up with my own "ultimate" mixture - distilled water, real salt, fresh lemon juice, and 2 drops of oregano oil per liter. (I'd use a good bottled water, real salt and lemon juice if I were in another country and couldn't get my own distilled water and oregano oil). It really kept me hydrated and from getting sick from being on the plane. I actually HEALED from a cold I was starting to come down with while flying to the other side of the globe.
Now Coke is still Coke, they have that on board and I don't drink it anyway. But the water they offer is NOT good. I know Delta only has Dasani (CRAP). And on long flights, most of the water is from the big container, with who knows what in it!!! And they don't have any bottled water to give me the large amounts I need! So how is a person like me supposed to deal with a situation like this?!
NOW WE ARE FORCED TO DRINK WHAT THEY OFFER US, OR DEHYDRATE IN THE AIRPLANE ENVIRONMENT!!!! Which, by the way, is only around 1% humidity. Even a desert has more than 10% humidity!

See, that's another thing that concerns me... if I check my special things like oregano oil, how can I be sure it will arrive? It might be taken deliberately or lost accidentally, and either one is not okay with me!

I refuse to travel on airplanes till this is over and done with. I need my water. I also use colloidal silver spray too. I'm glad I don't have anywhere to go.
