Blog: Observations
The lady behind me in line bought the following:
1 large bottle white zinfandel wine
4.49 pounds of ground beef
1 head of iceberg lettuce
2 cartons of Bryer's ice cream
1 liquid laundry detergent
1 family size black tea bags (for ice tea)
1 squeeze bottle parkay liquid margarine
She was a slim lady but of interest: her shirt. It was a polo shirt with the logo and words for a local family practice. She works in a doctor's office!
Hmmm, what are her plans for those things she bought?

I stopped buying regular sugar because I just can't support that industry. Plus, I can only imagine what people are thinking hehehehe.

The embarassment factor. I would feel embarassed to buy a bag of sugar. Might have to drive to a different town to make a purchase like that! j/k
But these people I see seem to be "loud and proud" about the junk they buy! Guess there are two different mindsets.

bn the way...
when I was studying with Dottie Walters
a couple years ago, we shared an interest
in Ben Franklin.
One of his favorite lines is
"I observe!"
He was quite the observer!
Ever studied about this man???
plug in Ben Franklin and "I observe" in google.
I wonder what comes up????

That is interesting, I never knew that. I just might google this combo!
My favorite line throughout life has been "What If?" as my imagination takes charge! Just ask my mom, she will testify that I say this ALL THE TIME! ha ha!

Naturally, refined high-society doctors like their wine. I remember having read/heard several times that wine in moderation is good for your health. Also remember that many consider it healthy to eat meats & veggies, lean meats preferrable but this is a *very* good diet. Ice cream must be the splurge!
It's funny when you start researching how to be truly healthy, how drastically different you find your mindset compared to the average people. This lady probably finds herself a moderate eater and healthy withing the range of common ideals. I wonder if she gets colds.
(just kidding, I don't wonder. I'm sure she gets colds.)
