    Boo Boo, Where Are You?

I was happy to take care of our son Jeff's animals and home while he was away refurbishing our old vacation house on Cape Cod. I fed the chickens and gathered their eggs, then walked and fed the dogs and yard cats every morning before I worked out on his exercise equipment.

Indoors was Boo Boo, his house cat. The first morning after our son left, I entered the house and Boo Boo didn't greet me at the sliding door as usual. I opened every door and cabinet and searched every inch of the house, but no Boo Boo. I called Jeff, who told me that whenever she went out she always stayed near the house. I searched the property, calling her name, but there was no answer.

After a week with no sign of our beloved Boo Boo, I was certain she had been carried off by some predator. I had to go to San Francisco for the Kinship Conference sponsored by the SPCA, so off I went with a heavy heart. A friend of Jeff's watched over the house and animals while I was away.

At the conference I met Amelia Kinkade, an animal communicator and intuitive and author of the book Straight from the Horse's Mouth. I shared what had happened at home and we discussed the possibility of her helping locate Boo Boo.

When I returned home, Amelia and I began to exchange emails. I kept bringing up Boo Boo and my feelings of loss. Amelia agreed to try and help me by visualizing what Boo Boo was experiencing — from California, where she lives. We are across the continent in Connecticut. She began to give me clues, but I still believed Boo Boo was long gone. Then one day, a long email arrived from Amelia describing the house and what Boo Boo was going through. I had given her no details about any of the things she mentioned. I couldn't believe her accuracy in describing the house. She mentioned Boo Boo was hungry and could see the moon — and, therefore, must still be alive. She said that Boo Boo had gone to the left, uphill, and was under the house, hiding and very fearful. She went on, describing a hill, two dogs in a penned-in area (Cybil and Bruiser), and a black cat with white paws (Meanie, a yard cat who lived up to her name). She said that they were threatening Boo Boo and wouldn't let her out to eat when she was hungry.

She described exactly what resides in our son's yard and also told me my wife's and son's first names and the name of the veterinarian, Michael, whom she said Boo Boo wanted to see. I went back to the house, choked with emotion, convinced that Boo Boo was there. I circled the property, calling Boo Boo's name. After 15 minutes, I heard a cry. I pursued the cries toward the house. The main entrance has a long wooden staircase coming down the side of a hill. The sound was coming from underneath the steps. I lay down and peered into the darkness. There was Boo Boo.

I cried with joy but she wouldn't come to my outstretched hand. I ran into the house and got some food and enticed her to come toward a place where I could reach her. I pulled her out. She was fearful and angry. We went into the house, and she immediately hid. She eventually came out when she realized she was safe. She was covered with sores. I cleaned them and applied antibiotic ointment. Each day now, I clean her and brush her, and she is back to her routine. My mornings are a blessing again with my exercise partner.

I still grow tearful as I think about this experience. I have always been open-minded, but now I am a believer. With Amelia's training, I am learning to communicate with our cats and house rabbit. I hear what they are thinking and we talk without words to each other.

I think we all need to open our minds and realize that consciousness is not local and can exist without a physical body. I have experienced remote viewing, remote healing, therapeutic intention, morphogenetic fields, animal communication, and more. To quote Amelia, "We are all cells in God's body." Hmmmm, makes you think about how our thoughts and feelings affect the world just as how our thoughts and feelings affect our body and health.
