Blog: 30 day juice fast
HI Guys,
I've been overwhelmed here, I just got flooded with stuff ta do. I've got some new projects I've been doing. We JUST found out New Orleans is going to be a no no. I'd been eating the one meal and still juicing, then 1 or 2 days I didn't have any carrots (the heart of ALL my juices) well except fruit juices. I've maintained good weight loss. Haven't gained but haven't lost. I've missed only about 2 days excercising. My husband told me tonight those 18 days did me a lot of good, I seem to be sooooo determined and dedicated to my juicing and excercising. I actually love excercising :) What a wonderful world. My hubby is eating everything but rocks. I'm going to start over again, this time I'm going to allow myself 5 days at a time, that way when we have to go to these events and engagments we have committed to I won't be trippin'. I LOVE JUICING !!! This has been SUCH a great experience for me. I haven't dropped out, I've been really busy. I need anyone out there who believes in God (Jesus) to pray for us, we've got some MAJOR decisions to make about our churches and buying another, WE'VE BEEN PRAYING FOR DIRECTION. Others will go with us, it's really important. Won't be long Hurricane season, we're also getting a plan together for that. Gonna have my Grandbaby next month (March) Yee Hoo. I'm going to catch up on the blogs now. just wanted to touch basis with you all.
Everbody who's just starting this is one of the best thing you'll every do for your health. Don't give up. If you stop, just start over, NO CONDEMNATION, PLEASE !!!!!

| You inspire me in so many ways! I know that I'm a perfectionist and wanted to undertake a very specific fast for lent. However, I'm just going to take it one day at a time. God bless you!

Hi Ren,
I'm so glad you're gonna take "one day at a time". Condemnation is a perfectionist worst enemy (speaking from personal experience). I had to really deal with myself, I would beat myself up ALL THE TIME. oddly enough, I'm a really laid back personality. But any project I undertake I seem to overtake. Ren, our best is all we got. Ain't that good grammar, even if it's ain't, it's freedom from perfection :) I really appreciate you blog, thank you Ren, you are an inspiration.

You were missed!
Yup, we're prepping for Hurricane Season (June 1) that's coming up in a few months. I dread dread dread it. We are all so exhausted from these bloody hurricanes! People still have tarps on their roofs from the four Killer Canes of 2004, Charley (category 4) in particular.
Congratulations on your new Grandbaby!! Mine is due in May. We are soooo fortunate to have little babies on the way, dontcha think, But God? LOL

Hi Dazzle,
I'm happy for you new grand on the way, Mine will be 1 year on June 7, where did the time go? Well, one thing she'll have a slim, preachin', clownin' ME MAW, that's what the kids decided they want their children to call me "MOMMIE ME MAW" what about that. Dazzle, this fast has really been LIFE changing for me and I can't thank you and the rest of the gang for being there for me. I got some more new young men in our ministry, one of the boys told me he was a "beaner" I had NO idea what he was talking about, but the rest of the young people did. He is mexican, he expressed how comfortable he was in our ministry. Talk about a generational term change a "beaner". I go a real kick out of that, the young people were looking at me like I spoke "Orkin" (remember moke and mindy). Anyway, I've been having a lot of challenges, But God, is good. Stay sweet.

Hi Living
Prayer is the best gift, thank you. I'm going to do the same for you, I'd like to quote something from the bible if you don't mind. "Acknowledge Him in all you ways, and He will direct you path". It is incredible how fast the time is going, at first it seemed the days were pretty long, but after a while, especially around day 13 it got easier. You know the drill. Next time it won't been as challenging because I know what to expect. My husband is talking about trying to fast again. I told him this time, just do 3 days at a time, this way he won't feel failure or discouraged or even as if he's never going to eat again :) Well, I'll be blogging tonight. Just wanted to let you know I sincerly appreciate your prayers, I know one person praying will get Gods attention, but lots of us praying will bombard heaven. Thanks

Hi Julie,
I was tickled to know I was missed, you guys are great. I've been having some challenges, but with victorous results. I'm still doing great. My hubby is ready to try again. I told him this time just do 3 days at a time, so he won't feel defeated or like a failure or even like he'll never eat again :) He is eating everything but rocks since the 9 day juice fast he did. So next month he'll start.
I'm going so I can blog now. And read some.
