Blog: 30 day juice fast
Hi everyone,
It's Saturday morning and I hope everyone has a good day. I'm logging in rather early today, I noticed yesterday my toe nails were looking rather blue, they're usually peachie or blush pink and white. I'm just curious thats never happened before. going to have my carrot & orange juice this morning, I had 1/2 banna with some water, still no desire to eat. I've lost 3 more lbs, when I started I was weighing 220 or 222 lbs, now I weight 200 lbs. YEAH!!!!!!!. I'll chect back shortly to see iff any of you have any suggestions about the blue nails. Thanks for being there guys.

Hey Girlie,
I have never experienced blue toenails, but it sounds to me like a possible circulation issue. Are there any other symptoms such as your feet feeling as though they're falling asleep? Are your fingernails blue-ish, too? What about the end of your nose? Any pains in your jaw, arms or chest? Are your extremities cold? If no to all of these, I think you're okay. But if you have other symptoms or if the blue does not go away or gets worse, please call the doc.
Grats! on the astounding weight loss! Twenty two pounds in 18 days is absolutely remarkable. The thing I love about losing that kind of weight so quickly on a juice fast is the fact that you do not lose skin or muscle tone. That God for the power of those veggies and fruits!! Yeah!
Any more news on the N.O. trip? I am assuming from reading between the lines that you all live up on the panhandle. I live south of Tampa 3 minutes as the seagull flies from the Gulf. We got hit broadside by Charley, Jeanne and Frances, 2004, to your Ivan. Florida: Land of the Killer 'Cane. Three more months until the Season begins AGAIN.

Hey dazzle,
was glad to hear from you, I didn't know about the muscle tone and skin, I did notice I don't look like I do with I water fast. DUH ! I didn't even connect the juicing. WOW. Okay, I'm sold for life for real, that's another bonus. I'm in the panhandle.
I'm not having any other symtoms,thanks, and the toes seem to look better. I had some more green leaf today, with onions. 1/2 hour and it's out (sorry), it wasn't as bad as yesterday though. Okay buddie, I'm gonna go reads some blogs. Still juicing.

Hey Hanna,
I felt the same way, I'm doing great though, and the toes are better. Thanks for asking. I would have gone to the doc if they would have gotten worst. I haven't read any blogs tonight so I'm going to do so. Hand tough hanna girl.

Hi :o)
On my juice fast (just a one week one) I regularly got blueish under my finger and toe nails.....and I felt a bit cold, like I needed to get into bed with an electric blanket on. And it's the middle of summer here!!
I'm just prone to circulation problems sometimes, and it semed to "hit" me more often whilst fasting...every day if I recall. I felt otherwise VERY well :o)

Hi Anne,
first congratulation, 1 wk major accomplishment. I've never had blue nails, but the toes are better. Thanks for telling me about you though, at least I know I'm not turning into an alien :) I think that cayenne pepper will help with circulation. I havn't read any blogs tonight, so I'm about to do just that. I'll be looking forward to reading you journal. how long are you juice fasting? One day at a time.
