I've still been smoking pot every day. I haven't cheated on the cleanse w/food or alcohol though. Yesterday I went on an hour walk and did a bunch of dancing and rocking out at home. The weekends are always the hardest because of the boyfriend. He has a fulltime job so he's not around so much during the week but on weekends it's like a ritual for us to eat together. As difficult as it is, this second time around isn't quite as hard as the first was.
I've been wondering lately if you detox more if you drink more glasses of the lemonade mix or fewer. Anyone know this?
Also I'm definitely getting mirror happy. I am very proud of myself. I think today I'm going to throw out a bunch of clothes that are now too big on me.

On a juice fast (I'm currently on Day 14 of a 30 dayer), the fewer juices you drink, the heavier the detox. But be careful, heavy detoxing can be so uncomfortable that it may discourage you from continuing.
When you smoke the pot, do you feel ill afterwards? More high? How does that work when you're detoxing? Just curious.
Good luck and grats on the 8 pounds gone!!

I honestly don't notice much of a difference smoking pot while detoxing... Maybe it does affect me more... I only take about one hit an hour like clockwork basically.

that you can smoke pot on a juice fast. i smoked pot after a 3 day juice fast a few years back and got so high that i went out and said something to someone (something very very truthful) that i would usually hold in. he got so offended he hit me!! that was quite a night. anyway i guess everyone's body is different. i don't smoke herb anymore and am glad i don't.
btw calamus root is a marijuana detoxing herb. put it in tea or smoke it.

How does it help detox from pot? Does it stop cravings?

pot is toxic to your system, as are all drugs. but no calamus will not necessarily stop the cravings, though it will help to get it out of your system. part of the problem with marijuana is that it lodges deep inside your fatty tissues. once there, it can slowly ooze out over a long period of time, depending on how much you have smoked and for how long. this puts small amounts of marijuana into your system and then you crave more. this process happens even after you have stopped smoking. a cleanse such as the one you are doing now, only without smoking obviously, is one way of accelerating the process of getting the mj out of your tissues.
calamus root is an ancient ayurvedic remedy for pot toxicity. you can prove this by doing an experiment - if you smoke a bowl, and then smoke some calamus right after, the affects of the pot will be dimished by anywhere from 40 to 60 percent.
also juicing wildcrafted wheatgrass is an amazing way of detoxing from pot and other drugs. it is an extremely poweerful detoxer and cleanser, the most powerful of them all in my opinion.
