DRINK A LEMONADE EVERY MORNING
To set my intention for a healthy day and to remind myself that I never want to only drink lemonade like this for 40 days again!
3 X A WEEK
To work out a minimum of 3 X per week in a gym. In a gym because I am really motivated by the environment and because I can use the weights.
SUGAR FREE
To go the distance of staying healthy for the rest of my life. I decided to go 5 years without eating the obvious sugars in the obvious forms. And when/if I resume sugar intake I will do as the french do...nothing more than three bites.
SMALL, SHORT, TINI, TINY
I will order smalls of everything.
KNOW WHAT I LIKE
I will decide ahead of time what I eat from our favorite spots of dinning/ordering and stick with those.
BECOME A FOOD SNOB (Eat the Best of Everything-I want to remember that. Thanks Ren).
When those five years have passed I will be a food snob. I will eat chocolate, but only the finest chocolate (which eliminates the connivence of candy bars), I will eat cheese, but only decadent cheeses. You get the idea. People may interrupt me as a snob when all I will really be doing is protecting myself from a world where anything I want is abundant. I know myself and my limitations...I have had a problem with food for 16 years. I will always have a problem with high fat, carbs, and sugars--so being a snob about what I eat sounded like a fun way for me to still enjoy the world of food.
SALAD
When I eat in a new restaurant or am meeting people for lunch, I will order salad. And I will bring a different salad to famiy dinner evey time so I have something healthy to eat. I will also get to try a lot of different recipes which is fun.
---------------------
That is all I have thought up for now. I may take up my figure skating again or find some other sport to be very in to. I may be vegan again for a time, or dairy free. I haven't decided how I will do food once these 40 days are over. Ultimately I would like to eat moderately with no limit put on what I eat by a title such as Vegetarian, Lacto-OVO, or Vegan. I found these ways of eating to limiting for travel and family get-to-gethers.

That's a good way of looking at it. I like that. Eat the best of everything.

And I like how you put it, "Eat the best of everything" that is a great way to sum it up. Thanks!
