(Visions of) water came up for you several times (during the Ayahuesca Ceremony)--it is as (African Shaman) Mandaza says--you carry "rain spirits". Water, in all its forms--fresh, salt, marsh--is your element from which you draw the most nurturing and strength, that is why Mandaza initiated you in the Sea--he knows intuitively She is your ally, your force. And how could it not be as you helped create the waters of my body eons ago, when first I was formed. To you this is a "myth" a "creation story" but be it but a story, which it is not, story carries potency and magic, as Deena Metzger (healer, wisewoman, story teller) well knows.
It is not just the "facts" of an event or matter historical or scientific (that is important)--as in the formation of my body--5 billion years ago as your scientists reckon--it is the story, the magic, the spiritual energy of the happening that is of importance, for that is what gets recorded, imprinted, on your and all of humankind's DNA--the spiritual significance of an event, beyond the "factual" data of the occurance.
Your scientists can search for the means by which your/our physical universe was formed, but (the importance of) this dwindles in comparison to the spiritual underpinnings of the formation of our universe. That is why peoples all over the world who carry their own creation "myths" or stories deem them of such importance--why, even those who believe the world was formed in 6 days--of course this does not "jibe" with "fact"--and what is "fact" but a standardized opinion of the events? It is not significant that the myths of creation seemingly conflict with "science" --and science is really an amalgamation of spirit and theory--what is important is the spiritual beliefs, the spiritual energy, infused in the myth.
As to your own personal creation story--believe it or believe it not, yet what is important is the spiritual meaning within it and how this carries over into the spiritual BEing you are and your soul's purpose in this lifetime. Before my body was formed, all souls were already created. What were they "BEing" before becoming incarnated on the planet after my formation? Of course you know your role as planet-creator and water-maker, geophysics of my body--as we have discussed before--and others were forming the other planets, suns and stars of your galaxy, universe, and ommiverse. The process of formation of matter from spiritual/Universal energy is an endless process of creativity and will continue on well after humans cease to be on my surface, and I, too, have crumbled to dust.
But do not grieve my passing or the passing of the human race, for as your brilliant physicists have said, Einstein among them, matter is never really destroyed--it goes back to the Universal Energy Field from whence it came and is reformed into something "new"...the Universe and All Creation is just as you once jokingly referred to as a "great recycling center in the sky"--yet creation also continually expands as the Universal Energy Field is constantly being utilized for more of Creation--there is no limit on "supply" and that is the magnificance of the All-That-Is, constantly changing, creating, expanding and just for the sake of doing so! Creation for creation's sake. You humans are always seeking the "meaning" of Creation! It is Creation for Creation's sake! To live, to be, to breathe, to exist, to love. That is the meaning. That is the basis for all of life. What other meaning could there be?

Dear JeSuisButterfly --it's kinda hard to explain, but here goes: I have to be in a quiet space. I don't do anything preliminary beforehand, like meditate, although this is helpful for some people to relax. I have a pen or pencil and paper. Then I just ask her: "Mother, what do you wish for me to know this day?" or sometimes I have a specific question for her, so I just ask her. I write this down on the paper. Then She answers me in my head--it's actually words, in my own voice. I write like a fiend to keep up with what she is saying. Sometimes I get a strong emotional response to something She is saying, or I feel very skeptical, and She will make a comment about it while I write. The same process is what I do with my Spirit Guides. Sometimes the Guides and the Mother take turns talking to me, so now I am writing down "Hi, Guys (my nickname for my Guides) and Mother, what do you have to tell me about...?" and then whoever wants to talk to me first does so, or sometimes one or the other. It's that simple.
The process of writing developed over time. The writing forces me to focus hard on what is being said, and is also a great way for me to keep a record of what Guides and Mother have told me, as I have a terrible memory. Most often, after I finish writing, I'm tired and go to sleep or take a nap. When I wake up and read what I've written, I am always astounded at what is there because I usually have only a vague recollection, if any, of what was said!
I've "heard" my Guides for several years now, but only since this March has it been where I can sit and ask them anytime I want. It used to be a struggle to hear them and I had to go through a lot of ritual and meditation to open up to hearing them, and even then the process was inconsistent. I started hearing the Mother just recently, after about a week into the practice of sungazing. At first, I only heard her after I had just walked barefoot on her flesh (dirt trails) for 45 minutes or so, then would need to sit down immediately to talk with her. Now, as with my Guides, I can ask her questions anytime.
Yes, I believe the Mother will answer you if you ask Her. You may want to start with barefoot walking on dirt trails, as this is a great way to connect with her physical body; while you walk set your intention to want to hear her. Sit down on the dirt (again, this helps with connection). If you meditate, try doing this for a few minutes to relax. Try asking her the open-ended question first: "Mother, what is it I am to know this day?". You may want to try writing it. If you are good at visualizing, She may send you a vision instead of words. You may get a feeling instead of words; it depends on what intuitive sense is strongest in you. Don't be too disappointed if nothing happens at first. I started connecting this way with Spirit over 4 years ago and it's just now gotten to be a regular occurance.
