You know the old joke that the biggest sex organ is the brain...well according to Dr. Bates the biggest sight organ is also the brain.
I have been quite myopic and worn glasses since I was a teen. I don't remember when I got my first pair, but it must have been around 12 or 13. That would be a year or two after I got the first amalgam fillings put into my teeth.
Since reading how mercury interfers with the uptake of neurotransmitters in the brain, causing depression and anxiety, I wonder if mercury may also interfere with the part of the brain than interacts with the eyes and produces sight and if chelation might be the cure for myopia.
I don't wear my glasses anymore except to drive and have gone through The 'See Clearly Method' and another exercise routine with no real improvement. I've read Dr. Bates book BETTER SIGHT WITHOUT GLASSES I think is the title. The thing that struck me is that his exercises are mental rather than physical and I am utterly incapable of doing them. This leads me to suspect that mercury damage to that area of the brain may have caused the myopia to begin with and may be preventing me from doing Dr. Bates excercises.
MH advises against solvent type chelators, so I am looking into herbal type chelators.

Interesting ...
It would interesting to study the population, and see if there is a correlation between the number of fillings and eye sight ...
The problem is, how to prove the cause and effect?
If someone's teeth are poor, easily get cavities, need dentist, need amalgam, the same thing that was causing teeth problems could be the cause of eye problems ...
The only way to eliminate doubts, would be to compare those who has different kind of fillings ... no-amalgam ...
