Blog: BV - Bacterial Vaginosis
Sometimes writing in this blog...still... seems pointless. I mean, I haven't come up with a cure or anything new and wonderful. I do feel pretty good that it seems as though my personal experiences may have helped some people out a little bit and I'm grateful for that. It was nice to share my experiences too, things like this are such a stigma it's hard about to talk to even the person you care most about, it's nice to be able to anonymously 'spill my guts' so to speak.
and.... I thank you all for listening and reading.
The femdophilus doesn't really seem to be working all that well and I've had to intermittently continue the Vitamin C treatments because that's the only treatment that I've found that really works well for me.
If there's any new developments I'll keep you all posted but don't count on the FemD for too much, I'd have felt better about it if it had come refrigerated.

- maybe you don't have BV by kefir78

I think there was another woman who was taking fem-dophilus for BV and she didn't see any improvement. She finally went to see the doc and he told her she didn't have BV to begin with. The discharge she was getting was normal. Some women just have a lot of discharge. I placed an order of fem-dophilus a few days ago. If it doesn't work for me then I'm just going to assume my discharge is normal as well.

I think if you have BV, you really know it. The smell is nowhere near normal. It can't possibly be mistaken for normal. BV is more than just discharge also, normal discharge is created for the purpose of cleansing the vagina - some people have more than others, I've read.
BV discharge is smelly, oily, thin at times and thick at others - a consistency like wet toilet paper. There is no mistaking it for normal.

Thanks for your blog; since I am male, I just stop by occasionally just to see how the other side is doing... Thought I don't follow much in detail; at least that i see the over all picture... You seem to have a lot for female info...
That is great to see someone who shares with others... That is what life is all about... HUH!!

I've been using Destinol and can honestly say that it has helped rid my body of bacterial vaginosis. I no longer have to deal with embarrassing vaginal odor, discharge, itching or irritation. Destinol isn't a messy cream. I just pop three pills nightly and that's it! Destinol has helped me become more confident during intimate times with my boyfriend because I am not worried about not feeling fresh nor am I embarrassed anymore. Destinol has changed my life for the better and I am glad! I think if you haven't tried it, perhaps you should. http://www.destinol.com
