Hi all. If you read my first blog I stated the cause for my dark circles, and it was due to candida. The candida caused me to have leaky gut, and to allow the toxins I am supposed to release to be reabsorbed into my blood stream. I wanted to do more research on my dark circles so I asked a naturopath, Shelley (askshelley.com). She studies ayurvedic medicine. She told me that the reason I have dark circles is that I have toxic blood due to liver and bowel congestion. That makes sense since the candida has caused my body to be in a state where I don't eliminate toxins, but I absorb them in my blood. My blood shot eyes also indicate liver congestion. Now is the time for me to take action. I am obsessed with getting rid of these dark circles. I am 22 years old, and I am determined to not live another year with that affliction. I am going to clean my colon, liver, and kidneys. I purchased Dr. Schulze's Incurables program. It should arrive here by Monday. I don't know if going on such a program might be a little too extreme, but I don't care. This is my plan:
1) Go on incurables program to cleanse colon, liver and kidneys.
2) After the incurables program I will take some clarkia for a few days and then go on Shelley's anti-candida diet. I have already purchased Garden of life's fungal and primal defense, which I will take as part of the anti-candida protocol.
I am curious as to how the area surrounding my eyes will look like after the incurable's program. I also have a sinus problem. Shelley says that the nose and ears are a path of elimination for the liver. So if your liver is toxic they will be overloaded with mucous and ear wax. Nice isn't it? :( She recommended that I buy Sinucleanse. I have and it really helps to relieve the congestion. You can buy a neti pot, and special salt that one uses to wash the nasal passages.
I also ordered Dr. Schulze's super ginseng blend, female balance, brain formula, cayenne tincture, supertonic, lung formula, nerve formula, and deep tissue formula.
I should add here that I know that my body is very toxic. I am extremely depressed, I don't have normal bowels. I only eliminate once every three days, and that is when I clean up my diet. I am very pale, and I'm supposed to have an olive complexion. My nails have vertical ridges and little dents in them. My lips peel a lot (sign of a weak immune system). My skin is very dry. When I last saw a doctor (years ago) he said I had mild anemia. My bruises don't heal well. I would like to add that I don't drink alcohol, and I don't do drugs. I believe that the candida flourished when I was a little kid and I was placed on antibiotics for a year. Since then my very bad diet has made my body very toxic. On Dr. Shulze's program I know that I will have to go on some type of juice fast. This strictness really helps me, because If I were able to eat normally I know that I would mess up my diet. My body should be a lot cleaner after the incurables, so if my dark circles haven't gone away I will do liver flushes with the epsom salts. Yuck! I have already prepared for when I can go on the anti-candida diet. Upon Shelley's suggestions I bought stuff that will support my skin, liver and bowel. I bought emer'gen C (vitamin C), cal-mag fizz (calcium and magnesium), nutritional yeast flakes (B-vitamins), granulated lecithin (dissolves stones, aides liver), flax oil (vitamin E), wheat germ oil, Udo's choice oil( has omega 3, 6, &9), kefir (good source of friendly microbes), burdock root pills (aides liver), goldenseal tincture (blood purifier), and liquid chlorophyll(good for skin). MH, the barefoot herbalist, doesn't think that taking vitamins, like emer'gen C and cal-mag fizz, are beneficial or even healthy. So I would like you all to be aware of that before you buy anything. Much later on I will buy MH's oil of oregano, because he says that it will kill the critters, and I will buy his dewormer.
If Dr. Schulze's incurables program, doing liver flushes, and the anti-candida diet don't get rid of my dark circles I am going to see the best cosmetic surgeon/dermatologist in NYC. I will laser off the bastard veins. One way or another I am getting rid of these dark circles by end of the year to come. I am so excited, I know that when my dark circles are gone It will be a joyous occasion, and I am going to share my journey with all of you.

Hi Juliet,
similar to you I have the dark circles - mainly under and on the inside of my eye area and they are bluish and definitely vein-ish. I've also been pale, but that is now pretty much gone now. I've been doing a lot of cleansing and finally am making major progress. I will post when my dark circles are gone, but related to what I've read regarding Candida - Candida is usually present or co-exists with parasites. Not a nice message, but I've heard from my network of Naturopaths that cleasing out the parasites will help get rid of Candida.
I'll let you know how it goes. There are other blogs on curezone for the parasite cleanses. I've read Dr. Hulda Clark's book, "Cure for All Diseases", and so far her info has been true for me. I'm doing the Clarkia drops, using her zapper and am doing the ozonated olive oil and L-Cysteine per her steps - actually listed on Curezone.
I think I must have had quite a bit as I am older, 48 yrs old and I was exposed to parasites in Mexico at 15 and have had skin problems - acne all my life, except it's significantly reduced now. Also, I was on antibiotics, Doxycycline, in my early 30's to help get rid of the acne, and when I went off of it after one year being on it, my face acquired a red blush. It looked sort of like a sunburn but would not go away. I suffered this Candida up to about 1 year ago. It went away with the cleansing!
I really think you should go with the cleansing, the kidney flush and the liver flush. This is also outlined in Hulda's book and on this site too.
You are on the right track to recovering your health and your natural beauty without cutting/lasering up your body. My energy and mood have also booth been enhanced by my efforts. I just wish I could find the combination to get there faster!
I guess that's why it's called a "journey"! :)

Hi Judy,
Thank you for replying to my post. I am now doing a forty day juice fast, and I am cleansing my colon. How is your cleanse going? I had purchased a bottle of clarkia before. I have around 1/4 of the bottle left. A naturopathic expert on curezone said that one should only take clarkia for no more than ten days, because after that period it starts to kill the friendly bacteria. After I am done with cleansing my colon, liver, and kidneys twice I think I might finish the rest of the bottle. Have you ever heard of oregano oil? MH, the barefoot herbalist and curezone expert, says that it is so potent it drives the parasites, worms, and fungus out of the body. When did you start you cleansing journey?

Hi - hope your still using this site.
I read your very interesting research on dark circles that I have also been plagued with for over ten years without finding a solution and now at the point of considering cosmetic surgery as the only possible cure.
It would be interesting to here how you're getting on before I go to the next step of booking a consultation with one of the experts you mentioned in New York - I live in the UK.
My circles however appeared overnight - I still remember the horror of awakening and then double checking myself in the mirror cos my eyes had changed and then at the same time finding out I'd picked up an STD from the first relationship I'd started in 5yrs - what a wonderful gift!! Save to say I immediately dropped her but was left with something that seemed as if I'd have to carry for life as a reminder to use every precaution. I had already been precarious as I knew she had Lupus but I was told this was genetic and not something you could just pick up from another person.......
I don't know how it could come up over night or exactly how an std can so quickly effect whichever organs that would cause this.... Had some months ago seen an alternative medicinist due to other seemingly related side effects of that episode that related to chronic fatigue. His tests showed that my organs had acceptable cellular structure, which leads me to believe my kidney's are ok. He also put me on a wheat free diet due to my intolerance to it. My fatigue has improved but circles remains.
Would it be advisable to check out any of the other diets you mention and/or the liver/colon cleanses or am I incurable??

omg... so I'm not the only one who hates my dark circles so much..
I'm desperate too.I've tried countless brands of eye cream,
eye concealers.
and now, I'm trying to detox..I tried to eat vegetable and fruits for 3 days,
but in the end, I included some meat in my diet:(
So, right now, i'm going to try taking detox pills to cleanse my system.

| I too have been plagued with, dark, dry, itchy eyes and circles. I look like a druggie/no sleep. I hate it. I am new to this site and wondering if I can start this clease and herbs while still nursing my 9 month old son?? I plan on breastfeeding for another 3-5 months. thank you, any advise would be great!!

Hey,, im 17 and have very dark circles under my eyes at the moment, like you i also belive i got them from taking antibioticts. The antibioticts were actually to treat my acne and they were called akamin (also know as minocyclin i think) anyway i never ever had dark circles until i started taking them which was when i was about 15 they'd of gotten darker since stopping which was because i thought they were giving me dark circles .But Mum's talked me into taking them again because of my acne getting worse.
Everything you mention seemed to relate to all my problems such as having paled alot even though i have olive skin. Having ripled nails. And having bad bowels and a few other things too.The only thing that really didnt relate to me was the sinus ive never really had sinus but my mum gets it alot.I really want them too go but im not sure it would help doing something like what your doing since i havnt got sinus...what do u think??
