I do not know what I was thinking when I clicked to buy these rings. It seemed that right after I did so, I read his enlightened ideas and endorsements of the Chinese government and him calling the Dalai Lama an 'idiot'. Well okay, I already ordered the rings so I was going to give them a chance. I was merely inquiring about cancelling this order. Can you believe this reponse? Here I thought the comments about this person were mostly unfounded. It's bizarre. I should have known. After all, Kevin Trudeau gives him an endorsement ((((shudder)))) I've worked a number of jobs in customer service over the years and received extensive training in the field. Alex Chiu definately needs some training. Thanks for allowing this mini-rant so early in the morning.

Look buster. You can't cancel this order. This order has already been processed and merchandise has already been shipped out. You may refund the merchandise after you received it. But you can't simply change your mind right after you hit the BUY button. Remember that there are humans working under those computers after you hit the BUY button.

that is hillarious!
if you did not know he was crazy before...... lol
i have made my own rings and used them with great success. i like them. but then, i never bought them, and i surely didnt buy into all he has to say. the thing that enticed me was this, if i can remember right: he said the reason he thought the live forever rings worked is because they increased metabolism. well, i was cold and lifeless and poor, so i took some magnets off the fridge and tried it. viola! i was warmer. i got great empirical data from wearing these rings - they lowered my blood pressure significantly and they raised my body temp by at least a degree and a half. i wore them day and night for almost two years. now i only wear them ocassionally. i still like them a lot, but i dont expect to be living forever - not by using them to keep my body alive anyway.
ps old hard drives have the magnets i like to make into rings. they are powerful!

I have stumbled on Alex Chiu's website too. I think he is a bit on the screwy side but his rings are interesting. I made my own using rare earth magnets and some nylon c-clamps. They works well. I mean, the rings do work! It increases blood circulation and it cleared a patch of rough skin under my chin within one week. (I tried quite a few things on this patch of skin before the rings, but none of them worked. The rings cleared the skin right off and now it is smooth and soft.)
Haven't been wearing the ring since Thanksgiving. Should start again. No, I don't think it can make anyone immortal, but at least I think it has some positive effects. ^_^

Yes, he's hilarious. I got an email from him also.
I wrote saying that I thought it was odd that almost every one of the testimonials on his website seemed to have been written by the same person. The same awful spelling and the same convoluted grammar and sentence-construction seemed to run uniformily through all of them. I thought it was very suspicious. A friend had suggested I try the rings, but I wanted to be satisfied his testimonials were real.
He wrote back almost immediately with an angry "Did you try them? Your friend suggested TRYING them, not READING them!"
I responded by reiterating my original point, and this time there was no reply. Mmm.
Now, either he's a total jerk and con-artist, or some kind of arrogant genius who just doesn't understand English very well or how to respond to people. I'd like to think the latter. But I'm not giving him any money. I'm making my own rings.
