The 6th of April - 2025 - The Sabian Oracle - 

For most of this century - this writer has often conferred with the Sabian Symbols as an oracle (as reinterpreted and advocated by Dane Rudhyar in his book: "The Astrological Mandala"). For all who may wonder: What is an oracle? - The "Online Etymology Dictionary"[*] says:

oracle(n.) late 14c., "a message from a god expressed by divine inspiration through a priest or priestess," in answer to a human inquiry, usually respecting some future event, from Old French oracle "temple, house of prayer; oracle" (12c.) and directly from Latin oraculum, oraclum "divine announcement, oracle; place where oracles are given," from ōrare "to pray to, plead to, beseech"

This etymological search was inspired by the opening pages of Lynda Hill's book[+] with the following:

"Oracles have been ‘read’ from an incredible array of objects including stones, bones, tea—leaves, coins, sticks, the backs of tortoise shells and cards. The word 'oracle' comes from the Latin word meaning 'to pray'. It is also connected to the word for mouth. An oracle is described in Webster’s Dictionary as being ‘a divine announcement’ and ‘the medium by which a god reveals hidden knowledge or makes known the divine purpose’. Further, it is said to be ‘an authoritative or wise statement or prediction’. In essence an oracle is a tool that allows a conversation with divine forces. They give us signposts and maps so that we can make better, more informed choices in life. In truth, we have the answers to the questions we ask inside of us; however we often need the answers to come through a vehicle outside of ourselves. Now we have the Sabian Oracle, which gives us a direct route into issues that reflect our modern era."

the 31st of March of 2025 - The "Power of Control" and "Insistent and Expansive Ego" via the: "Presidency" - "Lyndon Johnson has his North Node at 1°41' Cancer; his natal Moon at 9°8' Virgo has a very high north latitude. His basic lunar emphasis throughout his life is on the building of new faculties or power of control over his environment. If one adds to this the massing of Jupiter, Mars, the Sun, Moon, and Mercury in his first house and his "New Moon" type of personality, one can readily understand his insistent and expansive ego, his over-eagerness to stress "greatness" — first of all in himself — and, therefore, his extreme sensitiveness to criticism. He seems to be at the start of a new cycle, building himself up, while being raised to a pinnacle of power by a strong wave of destiny. - ***

March 29, 2025 - "The King of (Astrological) Knowledge" -

 "Up to date, scholarly literature on Rudhyar has not been very extensive but biographical studies by Ertan, Nicholas Campion, Ian Davis, Michael Meyer and Candy Hillenbrand are taken into consideration, in order to place his work in a critical and historical context. Campion portrays Rudhyar as the most 'significant' astrologer to arise from the U.S.A., and Hillenbrand argues that he was of fundamental importance in the modern reformulation, and popularization, of astrology":

This writer agrees with the birthday card for Dane Rudhyar - born March 23rd of 1895 which gave him The King of Clubs - known as: "The Master of Knowledge" and based on the stellar contributions Dane made to modern astrology now declares that from a Western astrological perspective - Dane be recognized as: "The King of (Astrological) Knowledge"!
