Yesterday, I stopped taking the herbal meds because (a) my doctor told me I could & (b) my body was screaming that I was ODing on herbs that are poisonous. But my thought was, let's do the frozen cod liver oil routine of 8 capsules first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. It always yields results. And it did. Another new and different parasite. This one has multiple appendages, much like a spider. I saw one of these weeks ago and wondered if I was going to find another. This one looks like it's mating! It looks like two attached to each other! Can this get any more hideous? I added this one to the vat of alcohol under my sink. BTW, this one came out with its own set of family members. They all went into the vat!

I am having second thoughts about the efficacy of the salt water flush. If I look at what came out the next day, the one I called the "out of town cousin", it appears to be so freshly deceased that its hard to think that herbals did it. I showed a pic of this one to my Dr. and he though that the three leg like things on the end were possibly the attachment points to my intestinal wall. Violent spasms of the wall probably dislodged it and possibly it just took a while to transit. Or it got dislodged and then was quickly KO'd by the herbal meds. It's very different in that it's FAT. It's whole and it didn't fluff up like the others did when I put them in water to wash them off. I usually leave them in the water for a while before I take them out for photos. Anyay, I may try the salt water flush again. Add it to the arsenal! It also occurred to me that I may have destroyed my gut microbiome to some extent, so I have been very careful to re-inoculate my gut with fermented foods. Yesterday I ate kim chi, kombucha & cheese. Today I will add coconut milk yogurt and some sauerkraut. Naturally we have 10,00-30,000 different species of bacteria in our gut. It's not a great idea to take massive doses of one type of probiotic. One needs the variety. I read Brainmaker by Dr. Perlmutter and this is the formula he suggests. I'm sure that the poisonous nature of the herbal meds does something to our gut bacteria. My digestion was getting pretty funky!I think kim chi is the best and I use it in place of salsa.

I had an AHA moment yesterday. I was talking to a friend about the new hair he has on his partially bald head. It's from a supplement that I told him about several years ago. I had forgotten about it and he reminded me that it was pumpkin seed oil. I had discovered it on the website called GreenMedInfo, a fabulous site that I can't say enough good things about. The author, Sayer Ji, spends his time reading scientific journals around natural cures and supplements. He then catalogues and indexes them! He also writes fascinating articles about his findings. So one of the papers that he found described new hair growth with the use of pumpkin seed oil. It worked for my friend to a certain degree and it has changed the quality of his skin and hair- so soft! Anyway, the pumpkin seed oil comes in capsules!!!. And pumpkin seeds are a known anti-parasitic. If you look at the formula for Vitaklenz, it is the #3 ingredient! Eating raw pumpkin seeds is also highly recommended! So I'm going to buy a bottle of these capsules and freeze them and use them in place of the cod liver oil! Or maybe with them. Perhaps even a combo of frozen cod liver oil, pumpkin oil and frozen caster oil. It would really be great to eliminate these critters without poisoning myself! I have absolutely no side effects from the cod liver oil capsules except an oily ring around my toilet bowl. I will try the caster oil and the pumpkin oil individually before I combine them. Cautious is best.
