Let's look at some real truth!!

The Bible teaches that this sense of lostness is rooted in the fact that we live in a fallen world in which we are all handicapped by a sin nature:
as we "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
Despite our best efforts we are unable to remove the haunting weight of guilt that separates us from our Creator. God sent his Son to solve our dilemma.
"God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16.
" For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn it, but that the world through Jesus might be saved."
John 3:17.
Jesus Christ made the way to God for us by his death on the Cross. He purchased our salvation by the shedding of his blood. His death and resurrection made a new and everlasting covenant between God and humanity.
Jesus told his disciples, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).
He did not merely point the way to God. He himself claimed to be the only way to the Father and the source of eternal truth and life.
Using a reference to the message of Jesus Christ and "The Jesus Christ Code,
" Truths are like a colour of the rainbow, where LIGHT is the whole Truth. The discovery of anti-truths, shows that there is an unknown negative dimension to truth, ie minor truths, or half-truths, or parts of the truth, that while true may deceive. " Because truth is often misused for personal profit and evil designs...
This newly applied dimension of truth,
(based on the logical conclusions of expanding and correcting the definition of half-truths) may in fact be the 'original sin' from the Garden of Eden where 'mankind' was deceived about Truth, as to the tree of knowledge.

I saw this blog, and since I like you, I was thinking it would actually have something to do with southern life, but it seems to just be a political blog about ultra-conservatism. I'm disappointed that there isn't more true "southern living" stuff on here.
Oh well, each to his own. :) K

Thank you for your reply K;
We share several things - besides the same Initial K which is cool; but more importantly we share a desire for the truth and Dixie!
Since my background of being raised in Dixie, most of my post have some form or shade of Southern Living Philosophy!
** Not to borrow from the Duck Dynasty - but I share many of the same views...
Of course all things are somewhat political by the very nature of today's world! Then when you factor in the Southern View or Life it will always be what is called Conservative by it's nature!
Most Real Southerners have always been hard working, God fearing, family people who try to live right and follow the ways of the Good Book!! ** This does not meant 100% or all the time as no one upon this earth is perfect, except for that one man over 2000 years ago and they Crucified Him!
Yet if you review my posts for the past ten years and not the trend is to express the truth, via my southern roots, from which I do not depart from very much...
The key to a successful life is to seek the Truth, Pray, and learn who you can trust! Stick with me and you will see that I will bring this long topic on Truth around by way of my Southern Roots!

I'm a "REAL" Southerner - born and raised. I'm not a Christian, and what bothers me is those people who are pushing the agenda that if you are not a Christian conservative, you cannot call yourself a southerner, which is total bullshit.
Have you ever heard of The Southern Strategy? Look it up. Before 1964, all the red states were deep blue. The Republican party played on racism and "southern pride" to turn them red. It IS political, and they are STILL doing it. They are distracting you with hot button items like abortion and other crap while the very people you vote for are helping corporations steal your jobs and your futures. It breaks my heart that so many good people are so brainwashed by Faux news that they can't see what the truth is. All those corporations that are shipping your jobs overseas and bringing in foreigners to steal the rest -- all HUGE supporters of the Republican party. Koch industries has outsourced more jobs that ANY OTHER CORPORATION in the country, yet conservative Christians consider them Gods.
There is no war on Christianity, and this was never intended to be a Christian nation, in fact all those "founding fathers" Sarah Palin & Co. are so fond of referring to were mostly agnostics or atheists. There IS, however, a war Christians have waged against the rest of us, which pisses me off, because I am a damned good person. I live by the Golden Rule, and a whole lot of your commandments, and just don't like being judged like that.
It says in the Bible that God does not want us to judge each other, to leave it to him. So please tell me WHY all of a sudden, Christians seem to judge everybody?
I grew up in the South, and it was not like it is now. There was not all this hatred and violent speech. It makes me very, very sad.
A higher-up person in the Republican party said that what Democrats don't understand is that the Southern Republicans hate Obama so much, they hate him more than they love their country, and they would destroy the country to get rid of him. Again, that just makes me very, very sad. I have no place in my heart for racism or hatred. I just want to help and love all people. Is that wrong?

Again great to hear from you again...
I do not support any political party, nada, zip...
In fact the Constitution does not mention any thing about political parties.. I wish we could just vote on who we wanted out of everyone who ran... When Lincoln ran there were 4 candidates...
* Sad - Political Parties control media, and much of the money used in the campaigns...
Religion is about rules and regulations; it is a system of control, sadly many churches are part of religious orders or denominations....
Therefore most of which you speak is a Legalistic religious system and not the True Christianity! The Christianity which Christ taught is a personal relationship - not a religious system like many churches...
This has fooled many people and caused much consternation and doubt in the Christian Church over the past 2000 years...
SO there is much truth in your views...

Kerm - I'm sorry I went on a rant. You're right that all this religious right bullshit isn't real Christianity. I know real Christians. They are good, kind, caring people who love everyone and care for the poor and downtrodden. They don't judge or condemn.
I am convinced you are one of those.
I am one who has to believe in something she can see, feel and touch, so I believe in nature. I do believe there is a higher power, but nothing like your God.
You are a good man, Kermi. Keep on keeping on!

First there are no perfect people here upon earth, and God is not angry with us - you or me! I only seek the truth; and I know that Almighty God is Truth.. Yet I am not perfect; it is only through the Sacrifice of Jesus that removes our sin! For which I am most grateful as we all should be!

The only Man to look up to is Yeshua - Jesus the Christ! He was the only perfect human to have ever lived upon the earth!
I discern that you are a special soul who seeks the absolute truth!
