: the inevitability of death, freedom and its attendant responsibility, existential isolation (referring to Phenomenology), and finally meaninglessness.
These four givens, also referred to as ultimate concerns, form the body of existential psychotherapy and compose the framework in which a person should develop a problem in order to develop a method of treatment.
These givens are seen as predictable tensions and paradoxes of the four dimensions of human existence:
- the physical,
- social,
- personal and
- most importantly spiritual realms
****
A key part of our life is our spiritual connection, which is where we seek to live & share a Blessed Eternal existence!
First each of us must seek the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ {Yeshuha} which is the only doorway - enterance to the Kingdom of God or heaven!
Grace is how Our Heavenly Father gives us the opportunity to find Him; then each of us must use our personal Faith to connect and believe this Eternal Truth!
****
Next we must seek the Truth Of God; then come to understand that there has never been any perfect humans upon the earth; [with the exception of Jesus the Son of God}...
Then if you can come to accept this Eternal Truth which God {who is the source of all Love and Truth} gives liberly to all...
James 1:5 - " If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. "
F.W. Robertson, in {Sermons} wrote:
" Truth lies in character. Christ did not simply speak truth; He was truth: true through and through; for truth is a thing, not of mere words, but of Life and Being. "
Jesus said: " If you hold to my teachings, you are my disciples indeed. Then you shall know the Truth and the Truth will set you free." John 8:31
===
The next principle of the Gospel is that God our Eternal Heavenly Father; is not mad or agary with us {you}:
since Christ set in place the remission of sins through His Holy Resurection!
- Jesus is the Truth and is the living Word of God!
" When man with his whole nature, loving and willing for the truth, he is then a live truth. But this he was not originated in himself. He had seen it and striven for it, but not orininated it.
The one originating, living, visible Truth, embracing all truths in all relations, is Jesus the Christ.
He is true; He is the living Truth! "
Geo. Macdonald; {Unspoken Sermons}
***
" Truth is the perfect correlation of mind and reality; and this is actualized in the Lord's Person. Therefore unless the Gospel is true and Almighty God is, as the Bible displays a Living Holy Being; because then the untimate truth is not a system of propositions grasped by a perfect intelligence, but is a Personal Being apprehended in the only way in which persons are ever fully apprehended; that is by Pure Love!
Wm Temple, in "Readings in St John's Gospel"

We will continue to discuss crisis in the life of people!

Viktor Frankl has the best ideas on the topic. I suppose doing time in Auschwitz, one learns the meaning and meaningless of life pretty fast.

Well yes in both the physical & mental conditions...
Yet, to gain a better clarity of any situation it is best to have a firm moral background, coupled with a solid intelligent mind capable of sorting out the truth from the best of the B.S. in your existence!
