Blog: skin and scalp problems
Trip to the e.r. early in the morning after a night of left leg pain that seemed to travel from behind my knee up to my buttock and could be felt all the way down to my foot...the pain was constant but fluctuated in severity. I also had spasms in my hamstrings on and off. I have an extremely slow healing ulcer on my left thigh...all normal medical signs indicated to rule out a venous embolism..which is what they did...I mentioned to the e.r. doc that I wanted to be checked for candida and that I knew I had parasites, but was not sure which..he stated that if I had systemic parasites I would be in the ICU..and was sure I was fine and did not have it, but agreed to do a complete CBC. Ultrasound was negative, CBC showed elevated lymphocytes and eosinophils ..funnily enough he did NOT mention to me that I had any abnormal labs, and did not run a "O and P", but sent me home with more antibiotics (not taking them at this time) and pain medication..(which I had but didn't help) Upon doing a search when I got home I found that hookworms can travel in the lymph and veins throughout the body...so as the only answer he could give me was a pinched nerve from my back..(which does not hurt) I am going with this as the cause..yes, I believe the thing was causing a pinched nerve as my the sole of my left foot was numb off and on, but the sciatic nerve is not going to cause the sensations which were weird and freaky that I felt all night the night before...I think they are trying to flee from the wormwood, black walnut, vitamin C, and garlic... They are giving the left leg a rest tonight, but I can feel them in the right groin area around the major artery there...almost like the first flutterings you feel during pregnancy without the warm feelings...can't wait till all the little bastards are gone!!!
