Blog: Spirit Speaks
Yesterday I took a walk at one of my favorite suburban sites at Monte Verde Park in Lakewood, California. Part of the walk path runs along the San Gabriel “River”. I put river in quotation marks because what was once a natural river now runs through a concrete channel for flood control purposes; at least it still runs to the ocean. It is also a haven for all kinds of waterfowl, and many a time I’ve walked past tall, elegant Blue Heron and seen pelicans, once almost extinct because of DDT poisoning, gliding gracefully over the water. The city took great pains to plant a ¼ mile stretch with only native California plants and grasses, including sage brush. I love the smell and sniff frequently as I walk.
As I was walking, I was thinking of Monsanto and their products. I’ve posted quite a few blogs about this company and their genetically engineered crop seed and herbicides, especially the ever-popular yet poisonous weed killer Round-Up. I’ve been particularly upset lately as my good friend Your Enchanted Gardener on the Plant Your Dream Blog has been dealing with the poisoning via Round-up of a beautiful natural canyon that runs right through his back yard.
Thinking “what can I do about Monsanto, besides be angry with them all of the time?”
A quiet voice in my head said, “Pray for Monsanto.”
“WHAT?” my brain shrieked. “I can’t pray for MONSANTO!”
“Pray for Monsanto,” said the voice.
I burst into tears. “Spirit,” I sniffed, “You can’t ask me to do that!”
“Pray for Monsanto.”
Knowing better than to argue with Spirit, I thought glumly, “OK, but You have to give me a moment to think how I can do that.”
I took inspiration from Mandaza Kandemwa, traditional Healer and Peacemaker from Zimbabwe, who spoke on the day of 11-11-11 and told the audience that many years ago Spirit had told him to pray for his enemies, the white Rhodesians who had colonized his country and had kept the majority black population subject to an apartheid state. He related how he had avoided doing this for years until he could no longer deny Spirit’s urgings, and how praying for his enemies was one of the hardest things he had ever done.
Well, I thought. Monsanto is a company and as such is an “entity” that has an “energy” of its own. But who makes up the company? From the Board of Directors, CEO, CFO, all the way “down” to the scientists working in the labs to the “bottom” of the corporate ladder--the secretaries and the mail room clerks and the guys in the warehouse packing and loading products, the company is made up of people.
The people who work for Monsanto are not evil; they are “misguided,” Spirit told me, and I can pray for them.
So, as I walked I prayed for those who work for Monsanto. I asked Spirit to help lift the illusion from the minds of the people of Monsanto so that they might understand the true nature of what the company is doing. I asked for healing for the people, animals, plants, water, air, and earth adversely affected by Monsanto. I asked Spirit to help those who work for Monsanto to open their hearts. I asked Spirit to help them connect with the Earth, and I asked Spirit to help them connect with Spirit.
After I finished praying, I felt a calmness that I haven’t felt for awhile. I prayed for my “enemy,” and I found a bit of peace.
Blessings,
Liora

From the fellow in Hawaii who said this for a mental patient, in another room...and helped him...
I'm sorry;
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
And another...
There, there, little one;
You'll be okay.
I'll take care of you.
I had to repeat them many times...whenever I thought of someone who makes mistakes, and even myself...before it became somewhat automatic.
They removed a lot of weighty worries from my shoulders, and day-by-day I became freer of concern and happier.
I have a sneaky suspicion that others feel the effect of these sayings because I have had proof that support can be felt from the other side of the globe, without a word being spoken about it.
I think it works on a principal of...that SOMEONE needs to say them, and that it doesn't matter WHO, or even WHERE, or WHEN.
As Hap told us, in the movie called "Always", things don't always happen in the expected order.
Personally, I don't really believe in 'time'. If there really is no such thing, we can always go back and correct anything that was once amiss...or ahead to prepare for something that will be when we are no longer around. ...Like protecting our grandbabies...and all future generations.
Talk about relieving our concerns and regrets!!!
You see, I can't erase the Inquizition, except that I can repeat the sayings above, and erase the Inquizition for me...maybe even for some others, too.
NOW is the most important part.

Thank you so much for writing your very wise words, fledgling!
Thank you for the reminder of the prayers--the first one is the principle of Ho'oponopono, an ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness: http://ezinearticles.com/?Using-Hooponopono-to-Transform-Your-Life-Now&id=175...
...and the second one, I say to myself frequently! I'm talking to my hurt or scared "inner child" self, and use it to self-soothe.
Yes, there really is no such thing as time! We humans are very linear in our 3D reality, but as spiritual BEings we are without time. Everything that has ever happened to us or that we have said, thought, done, still resides in our own minds, and we can change it for ourselves, if not for others.
...and speaking of our grandbabies...Spirit has told me that we are are own ancestors and our own descendants--as "old souls" we incarnate over and over again, and often put ourselves back into our own family tree to "rework" the issues we have not resolved or to play a different "role" in this play of life.
so, to use your example--if You (your Higher Self) was on the planet during the Inquisition, you CAN heal that in this NOW time as your Self is the same Self it was then, only you've got a different physical body, and to top it all off, maybe that Self that was embodied during the Inquisition was someone in your own physical family tree in the "past", making you your own ancestor!
All things happen all at once--"past" "present" and "future", so we are living our "past lives" simultaneously with our "Now life" and our "future lives".
Well, I sometimes "get" this and then I "forget" this, so thank you very much for the reminder!!
