  Reflections…     Thoughts for today

Most of us need some moments of inspiration and enlightenment;

this is such a time! Stop and reflect on your life!

What you think will effect your actions,
What you say will effect you life,
What you do will make you future,
What you pray will decide your eternity!

A person can have the greatest library of books or a collection of great works, but if they do not read or attempt to absorb it; they will remain as ignorant fools!

You only have one life to live, if you waste it do not blame anyone else!  I seek the truth, and then to follow God [who is Truth} because mankind does not really know what is going on in the Eternity to come…    The Truth is for us to find!
There are many who act like they know the truth,  some who think they do, then a few of us, who understand that we do not know much of anything of eternal consequence!   Like it or not!  The Truth is not always what we want, or even easy… But it is always real!

You see, the promises of God do not lead to passivity.   It is a gracious gift of God which is worked within us whereby we can say, “I will be active in my (Christian) life.”   The promises of God will not only remove envy and complaint, but they give us a peace in the way of God.  The Truth transforms us, and gives us strength at the moment of our trial.

" There is no condemnation for those who are in me {Jesus}; the law of the Spirit of Life has set you free from the law of sin and death."  Not many Christians know how to live in this radical new freedom,which is their birthright.

To walk along the path of freedom, you must keep your mind firmly fixed on Christ.  Because many voices will proclaim: ” This is the way or that is the way you must go,” but only the true word of Christ tells you the Truth.

If you follow the way of the world with all its glitter and glamor, you will descend deeper into the abyss of dullness of thought…   Which is where many people are today!   Even some so called Christian voices can lead you astray saying do this or that, pray this way or that way.. listening to all these voices can only lead you into disrepair and confusion!

Be content as a simple sheep, listening to My Voice {Jesus} and following; for I will lead you into restful green pastures along waterways of righteousness…

If you only stop to reflect on these words you will have considered that Eternity exist…  But if you Pray and take action based upon the promptings and/or knowledge that will be made available; then you will progress toward the Kingdom of Heaven!
