Blog: Water fasting focusing on God, detoxing body mind and heart
Okkk, its nearly 6pm, today has been good, had a few aches and pains, felt tired but drinking water takes away the tirdness and somewhat mental fog. Really helps been around my neice (11 months old) infact spending time around people who I love and can have a laugh with helps.
Temptations:
* decided to go to the Pier with niece and mum, just so happens that the sweet stall ( which we never usually go to) was a attraction and spent a good 20 minutes looking at sweets... Lol!
* on the way home andy ( step dad) decided wanted a KFC so he got himself a meal
*the next stop was MCDOLANDS no im not joking! lol what are the chances of spending a afternoon picking sweets then stoping off at 2 fastfood places..
However the real test for me is the evenings ( im a night time eater ) Im praying to God that i dont do my usual wake up at midnight eat food in my trance like state, thinking of staying up late tonight and praying thinking of the bible scripture
"Pray that you may not enter into temptation'' (Luke 22:40).
and "The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak'' (Matthew 26:41).
